Would love to hear local stories of great adventures and hikes, and ideas for family oriented multi-caches at reasonable altitudes!

I'm two states to the south... :wave

My curiousity is killing me...  what do you consider a reasonable altitude?  :)

A 1/1 via the trail around the hill?
Nah... that's too easy!  Let's go up and over!
Why follow a trail when we can blaze our own? :p

We *make* mountains out of mole hills!

Hi Georocker!  I was just getting the ball a rollin.  Well, I'm at 95 ft here.  So anything above that but not as high as.. say... a Mutated Mole Hill....

What do you have in mind?  How high can the Georocker climb?? -CT

Hiked up to 8400'... didn't make it to the cache, which was up at 8800'. :(

I couldn't figure out how to climb the last 400' in an hour.  ???

I would like to submit a multi-cache in Northern California for your perusal...
It is on the Geocaching site  :grinnin
Earth, Wind and Fire
This is an excellent family-oriented multi-stage cache. It involves history of the northern Cal area, and takes you to some of the most beautiful areas here, including near a bird sanctuary.

It takes approx. 4 hours to complete and makes for a lovely afternoon on the coast away from summer heat.

My .02 worth...

Redwood...you  dont ever have to ask to submit a cache, you should always feel free to do so. Of course your cache/caches are always welcome here...submit away! :)
