I've just looked at the Links page for either the first time or the first time in quite a while and noticed that it is quite lacking, especially when it comes to regional organizations.  Iowa is the only one right now.

I just used the Contact Us link (bottom of most non-forums pages) to suggest a few new links.

My suggestion here is really for my fellow Navicache members - to submit links for your own regional groups (or other useful geocaching related sites) to help make the Links page more useful.

Thanks.  Wouldn't MGS and NoVAGO fit under "Regional Geocaching Sites", like IGO?  Assuming that was a oversight?

An oversight it was, and it has been corrected.

Now my turn for a suggestion.

Assuming these are in your area or you would not be submitting them, how about asking them to do the same and link back to Navicache.com  :thumbs-up

I've long ago added Navicache to GC4C's Links page, the only one I have direct control over.  I have submitted requests to MGS and NoVAGO.  I checked MAGC and see that they already have one.

Good idea. I posted that suggestion to both sites I use sometimes. Since I am not an admin on either I cannot promise something ...

I have killed two birds with one stone.  Robert is the webmaster for MGS and NoVAGO and has added links on both sites.

Would also recommend a section for caching podcasts...

I've submitted request to add Navicache to their Links page:
Podcacher
Caching in the NorthWest

Site has no Links section:
Cache-A-Maniacs
Cachers of the Round Table
Geocaching Podcast
Centennial State Geocaching (They did dedicate a whole show to Navicache and TerraCaching recently.)

There are other worthwhile shows, but these are the ones I most often listen to.

PC -Any thoughts on adding the podcasts to the links page.  I got word from Sonny & Sandy that they've updated the Podcacher links page to include Navicache.

Would like to also suggest the follwoing...

CachingTree - A geocaching family tree project. Best viewed with Chrome or Safari browsers.

Dan from CT participated in our NaviChat session for 2 Aug 2010 and is very interested in learning more about the "alternate" caching sites and figuring out how to best incorporate them into how he does his tree.
