I use one feature of "another site" quite often: the map displaying all (<=500) caches in a certain area. I didn't find something like that here. Now "the other site" uses Google maps for this and I can understand that this could be troublesome because as far as I know Google charges for this once you hit a certain traffic limit, which could be very well the case here.
However: did someone already try the same with openstreetmap.org? It would also help with maps outside of the US, since openstreetmap.org is a worldwide map. I understand that openstreetmap.org is in some places "behind" the Google counterpart (but it is the opposite in other parts), and it does not have satellite image material, at least not worldwide, but wouldn't it be a nice thing to have?
