Yes, new site updates are in the works. Some cosmetic, some feature related and some enhancements to features that already exist..

As always, if you have any specifics you would like to see, be sure to let us know.

Are you willing to be a little more specific?

Things I will/can mention at this time that are on the list are upgrades to member profile to allow for a new caches near me and email notification of new caches in your area. Others include Hitch-Hiker tracking, WAP, downloads, etc.

Then of course there ar enhancements to site design such as the menus, page layout, improved search form (including for the XML interface, etc.

Hardly a complete list (it is quite long).

I just discovered a new cache in Washington, DC via the Newest Caches link.  I was searching the site to see if I've somehow been missing a way to get notifications for new caches near me.  No luck, but did find this post.  Is this something we might see in the future?

Thanks.

One thing I'd really like to see would be a way to filter found caches from maps and searches.

Secondly, I'd like to see the ability to "ignore" caches, mostly ones that I've either found on another site (if crosslisted) or have identified to most likely be missing and orphaned.
