One of the things that annoys me are clues which are, to put it mildly, about as much se as a chocolate teapot (or cofee pot, if you prefer).
You probably know the sort of thing, you are stood in a wood or a forest, the GPS signals are poor to non-existant, EPE over 100, DOP = 10. You've searched for a hour or so and then decide to give up and use the clue.
You sit down and work out the short sentence which comes up with the blindingly helpful "The cache is hidden at the base of a tree". "Well" you think "now why didn't I think of that?"
It's got so bad that I now decode the clue before I go, to see if it's going to be of any use to me. ;-)
The other thing that gets me, is a clue which says "the picture shows the location", now, the problem here is - how would you download and print the picture, to take with you, without looking at it and possibly spoiling the fun of looking?
Thanks - Just wanted to get that off my chest. ;-)
