I've noticed a lot of new users here within the last few days and even though this isn't my site it definately feels like home, so I'd just like to say hi to all the new cachers and welcome you here.

Mike

Same here!!!!!!!!!!!! :grinnin

I'm sure when Candie and I are in Colorado next week,  there will be some new comers  to Navicache..... :wave
We have explained geocaching to friends and family out there, but they all told us to come show them what it's all about.  HEE HEE!!!  That's when our family called their bluff and decided, the #@%% with it!!!!!!!!!  We are going no matter what!

Maybe I can get my dad or (friends) hooked on caching like me and watch his progress in the months (years) to come.
LOL

Well anyways, I could babble about anything because I'm so excited about leaving on Friday! (8-02-2002) :p

What an adventure this vacation has been!!! With our dog Chi and four big kids in a truck traveling cross country. Whew! At times it was rough, but over all, it's been fun. After seeing family in Colo. Springs, we went to Pueblo West to stay with friends. (The Pearce family) We introduced them to caching and they all love it. (Gina, Kieron, Kristin, Josh, and Justin) We took them on a few caches and now we will be hiding one of our own out here. I would have liked to have hid one on Pikes Peak, but they have strict rules and regulations. So Liberty point in Pueblo West will be just fine.  Well anyways, we will be heading home on Friday since I have to start work on Monday.

Other then the 30 hour drive to Colorado and the 30 hour drive back, we all had a great time. Our four kids,  and Chi (a big black dog) in a loud Ford Bronco with no air conditioner was quite the challenge.  One would figure 40 dollars in juice
and pop would be enough to get home. Especially when we drove straight back without a hotel room.  But it wasn't enough.  We ran out about halfway home.  That didn't even include all the restaurant stops, snacks, and all the other bull@#$%.  Well anyways,  it's time to get in work mode big time.  The vacation was nice,  but now it's time to pay!!!!

We did manage to do some caching out in Pueblo, Co.  It was so cool to find caches out there.  We wanted to do a lot more  but Grandma and other family members just didn't get the GPS and caching thing. So with that in mind, Candie and I just couldn't fit it in the busy schedule they had planned for us. LOL  We did, however, manage to hide a cache in Pueblo (and in Indiana, we will submit it tomorrow) and wrote a note in the log, to make sure to post on both sites.

When Candie and I got home, (a couple of hours ago) we noticed that Scott and Gina found their first Navicache.com
cache. How cool is that!!!!!!!!!!  (Candie and I just get tickled when we find new Navicache members!! Hee Hee)  Welcome them as new members!!!  We hope the cache we hid in Indiana (The Stop And Rest Cache) will be found just as quick.  LOL The rest stop was so beautiful, we couldn't help it. We even placed a Navicache travel bug in it.  (Good Winds) that was originally placed by the Kite Wizard.

Well, I seem to be writing a book and I need to get some sleep.  It sure feels good to sit at my own pc and check out Navicache without somebody watching over my back.  LOL
It sure feels good to be home!!!!!!!!!!!!
