Ok.. am I dumb or what? My old Magellan's manual shows how to enter a waypoint manually but I can't seem to find this info on the pitiful excuse for a manual that came with the Meridian Platinum. On the old 2000 XL you can look up the topic in the index of a written manual. I didn't find it on the CD either. Wonder why they didn't write a manual you could take with you that had all the info in it? Seems like a step backwards to me. Kinda difficult viewing a CD in the field.

I am at the office right now so do not have the manual in front of me so can not refer to a specific page, but all you need to do is press and hold the 'Goto' button for about 3 secondas and it will mark the waypoint you are currently at. If you wish you can then edit that waypoint (name, coordinates, etc,) and save the changes.
