Good point about being trumped before getting home with captures Scout. The comment was tongue in cheek anyway.
By the way, if you want to see where I am, or was last time I was within range of another station using APRS, go to the following site http://www.mnaprs.com/database.htm and enter the callsign (make sure you put it in exactly as below, the 0 is a Zero and not the letter O)

But that one is deliberatley offset at the moment, as I wanted to be able to 'see' the output from the TH-D7. I'll put my home back in the right possition tonight.
There must be a way to get real time tracking off the internet (there is a problem if you want to use programs that might let non-Amateur people send beacons on the Amateur bands) but I've not found one yet.
