I drove 90 minutes yesterday to a vacation spot and spent the afternoon there. Only after I got home did I think to check if there were any nearby caches. It turns out there was one within about 100 meters from where I parked. I was unaware of it all the time.

I wonder how many other places I've been that close to a cache for that long and never knew it. :-(

With Geocaching becoming so popular, I'll bet this has happened to a few of us. I work with a guy who has a GPS he uses when he goes hiking, likes the track back so he doesn't lose his car :grinnin
He overheard me explaing geocaching to someone else one day and realized there were three caches in the area he gors to to go hiking all the time.

I think he is hooked now!   :thumbs-up
