My newest TerraCaching virtual has been published.  While it is not a Navicache, I thought it might still be of interest to folks.  Also, you no longer need to be a member of TC.com to view cache pages (minus the coords).

Kind of like parking the Pepsi truck in the Coca-Cola plant parking lot isn't it??? :(
If you think 'it may be of interest' then why not submit the cache listing?

I don't know, I thought we were pretty open about discussing the other sites.  Over the last year, there have been other discussions, particularly about OpenCaching (both OCUS & Garmin) and TerraCaching and I don't recall you commenting negatively, so I figured it wasn't a problem.  My apologies.

I figured this was just something that folks might find interesting, even if they probably aren't anywhere near Abbottabad.

And since you asked, I prefer to list any particular cache exclusively on one site (whatever is the best fit).  Since this was going to need to be a virtual, it couldn't be on GC.com.  And since it wasn't in the US, it couldn't be OpenCachingUS.  For me, that left TerraCaching or Navicache.  In my home area MD/DC/VA, I can name one other person I know who is likely to try to find an NC hide, while there are a score or more pretty active TerraCachers (including the 1 NC user).  There didn't seem to be any TC or NC caches in Pakistan, so I went with the odds, based on home.

While I still seek out NC's (primarily virtuals), when I go to a new area, I've come to the conclusion that my efforts in placing caches are better invested in either OCUS or TC, at this point.

We are now, and always have been very open with regards to 'discussing' other geocaching sites. On the other hand, a post that pretty much says .... 'hey check out my cache listing [LINK] here ' is hardly discussing the other site.

Too specific, then?  Hopefully, no one will sign up with TC, in order to fly out to Pakistan to claim my cache.  I'll make a note of this for the future.
