After placing diff multi-caches one thing bothers me. I'm always affraid someone will not find a set of coords. So I wrote them with a permanent ink marker at 2 diff locations. Today I tried painting these coords on different objects ie:rock, old trailer old fridge etc...Hopefully these wont fade away and stay clearly visible for a looong time. WHAT DO YOU USE? ???

What I do for Multi waypoint is make a small wooden plate(maybe an old paint stir) then I write my coordinates with perm marker, I then use very tiny tack nails that only extend about 1/8 an inch through the wood plate so I can fasten it to anything wood and still if when removed won't leave a mark. This seems to work well in areas where things are sensitive.

Very good idea. I wouldn't want to start writing all over everything outdoors.

how about a film canister with laminated coords inside.  weight the canister using a few washers.  place the canister in an obvious location.  0 impact on enviroment.  i have seen this done in several local caches.  one of our local guys loves multiple caching. 3 or 4 points before final cache.

I heard of another guy using brass tags or our local army surplus store will make dog tags for you.

Also I heard of using magnets inside the film cans and sticking them to local metal objects.

We have a few like that in this area I live in. I try to just use local signs or landmarks that people can grab numbers off of to translate into the next coordinate... by the way, welcome to the site!  :)
