I have noticed that there are always tons of people coming in to look around the forums (which is quite fine and you are all welcome) but becoming a registered member has quite a few added advantages than just being a "Guest". As a member each time you visit the forums unless you clear your cookies, the forum will remember who you are and track which posts you have or have not read. Also becoming a member will allow you to post a reply or make a new topic of your own here in the forums. So...for those of you stopping by for a visit, Welcome! but you would get much more if you signed up at the top of the main Forum page. If you have any questions and or comments, please by all means go to our "contact" page and send us an e-mail. We will get back to you quickly with any answers needed to help you out. :)

Woodhauler asked me today. "How do I Register" I never paid attention to where to register and had trouble finding it myself. I also realized that there are a few different places to register for different things (IE Chat line). Is it possible to have one easy to find register location that would get you into everything?

I'll see what can be done about this, but for the mean time to register in the forums all he or anyone needs to do is at the top of the main page within the forums use "Register" or use this link that will take you directly to that page... Navicache Forum Registration

Yes. I found it but the register button didn't show up until I logged out. In our case I was using my computer and I knew there was a button. However, when I got opened up to Navicache my nice cookies logged me in and while you're logged in the button is nowhere to be found.  :withstupid  Simple solution: I logged out to show him where the button was. :)

For what it's worth....

I don't remember having any trouble figuring out how to register.

I do know that I'm not a very patient person and would have hinted at the problem if there were one.

We became members of the forums back in April.  Since then, Upinyachit has done nothing but progressed with the useful information we obtained from the forums.  The information and respect we get from this website is amazing.
Candie and I can state our opinion here and always get positive feed back.  Even if another member disagrees with us, it's no big deal.  Every member is different, and I believe that's what the forums are for.  To obtain knowledge, respect another member's opinion, and learn from each other.  Like they taught in school; no question is a dumb question.

Because you are already a member, you will not see the same "Register Now" option others see in the forums.
As for one central registration that will cover Main Board, Chat and forums....this is already in the plams.

I registered, but not during my first visit. I signed up during my third visit to the site. Sometimes folks may want to peek and poke around a little before sigining up.

The other good thing about registering for the forums is there are more civilized posts here than at "other" places. Everyone here seems to be nice, peaceful, and helpful.  I haven't seen the flame wars here.

Keep up the great work "Quinn and Co."
