How many of us have retrieved a george bill and found that it used to be yours?  If it happens to you, then you know you cannot enter it again at the george site unless you edit your entry.  How fun is that?  :(

That has happened to us three times, so that is when we decided to put it back into circulation.  It wasn't too long before that particular bill ended up in North Carolina!  :^:

Not a bad idea?  What do you think?  Keep it or spend it?

You should always spend a marked bill as soon as you can. Post - Mark - Spend.  It is the world of george!

I agree, but I think most cachers keep putting them in other caches.  That is the only way that I could have gotten my own bill back.  I will surely spend them from now on.

Thanks for your comment!

LOL!  "PMS" is an interesting variation on the long established WG credo "EMS", Enter Mark Spend.

I put NaviGeorges into NaviCaches for two reasons:

1. It's my gift (I'd call it a swap, but I usually don't find something else in a NaviCache that I value).  In an EMS aspect, it's my "Spend", much like someone else's gift in a charity box or b-day card.  I don't have any expectations for NaviGeorges other than...

2. A NaviGeorge has an opportunity (not a mandate) to be a perfect "hitchiker", a fun and well known part of NaviCaching.

Spend it of course.  But replace it with a new dollar that you took from general cirtulation and marked yourself.  And perhaps stick a note on it for the finder to do the sme thing.

I recently went to a cache in the Pittsburgh and found 2 unmarked bills.  I took them both and replaced them with marked bills.  I took those bills home and marked them and sent them along their way.

Last week both the georges I placed there were hit. :grinnin
