Does the detailed search feature work? I entered a zip code and state, then checked off both hardest boxes. My search gave me zero caches in the zip code or even the state. All the caches listed were about 2500mi. away some where on another continent.

This is not the first time I have had this experience.

Yes there does appear to be a problem when the Terrain and Difficulty boxes are selected. I will look into this and get it corrected as soon as possible.

Thank you for brining it to my attention and sorry about the inconvenience.

Can you tell me where in the queue this issue is? On a somewhat related note I made a couple suggestions on Scout's thread about the look and feel of this site w/out any sort of response from the site. I feel a little slighted when the wingding (a new topic, absurd question) gets a response and I don't.

Was just discussing and going over this very issue last night. The issue with the 'Detailed Search Function is actually scheduled for work this weekend. Barring any unforseen complications it should be corrected within the next couple days.

OK...I said barring any unforseen complications  :(
Work on this continues and hope to have it corrected soon.

I am continuing to look into the cause of this. In the mean time to prevent inaccurate search results I have temporarily removed the option to search by Terrain and Difficulty level.

I apologize for the inconvenience and hope to have it corrected soon.

This issue has been corrected and the Terrain and Difficulty fields are again available in the Detailed Search form.
