My two pennies worth...
I created a virtual cache, based upon a very accurate point near here where you could test the accuracy of your GPS.
On here, no problem, over at "the other place" it was rejected as the hint told people what they were supposed to be looking for. (Duh, I thought that was the point of the clue! ) so I amended the cache by adding a physical cache at a spot about 1/2 a mile away, which was related to the original point by the fact that the Ordnance Survey had quoted an incorrect National Grid Referrence, and the cache was then approved.
Two days later the first visitor reported the cache gone and kindly emailed me pictures so I could confirm that they were definately in the right place. I've just been there, and found some litter which consisted of discarded parts of the trinkets put in the cache. No sign of the tupperware box.
So, that's three caches that I've logged on the other place that have all gone MIA.
Not suggesting that is the fault of the people who run the other system, but I wish more people in the UK would use this site instead...
