The city is automatically generated from the zip code if the cache hider does not enter a city.]
Quinn's "Sprucewood" cache, which is in Churchville NY, and my "Hawthorn" cache show up as being in Clifton, NY, which hasn't had it's own post office or zip code for 20 years (it uses Churchville's post office). I wonder if the database you're accessing is up to date?
You are correct for the most part, but actuall I wanted to confirm my "Sprucewood" caches location so i did a search via Yahoo and three other mapping programs for the location of "Clifton NY" and it dumps a marker extremely close to where my cache is placed. The only thing I can think of is that Clifton is a name of a very small community that uses or used that zipcode, so I would have to say that my cache is named correctly as for the the clifton portion.
Now your cache on the other hand shares the same zip code as mine and i think the reason of it not being changed is why yours also falls under clifton. I'll have to look into this a bit further to see what I can uncover.
