When I go to my caches & punch up 'caches nearby' some show a listing of the caches nearby & others show Heidewanderung in the cache name.      Any idea what that is all about? thanks MW

Well Im still not getting a list of other caches nearby. Actually now Im not even getting the above said info. I can get the caches if I use Buxleys but not from a cache page itself. Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks MW

What is the waypoint you are using (your cache), I'll take a look for you.  On mine it works fine, maybe it has something to do with your listing?

Edit to add:  The only one that gives me an error is the one I have disabled right now.

I found one of yours and I think it may be related to the GPX issue I was having.  The link has:

Code Sample
http://www.navicache.com/cgi-bin/db/distancedp.pl?lat=0&lon=0

So the lat long is not being passed in the link.

I also noticed that the coordinates format which is listed on my page (N028BD): [N 36° 54.054'   W 088° 05.238'] is changed to [lat=36.9009&lon=-88.0873] so that may be the issue.

PC Medic: Do you think this may be the cause?

Edit for Speeling

You were getting the 'Heidewanderung' as it had incorrect coordinates and was making it appear near your cache. I corrected this and that is why it no longer appeared.
Your caches should now be working correctly when selecting the 'Nearby cache' option.

I believe it was caused by the mapping script not receiving a response from the server in a timely manner. When this happened it  just gave up  up and resulted in '0' for the Lat and Lon coordinates in the mapping table (which is where the GPX file and other scripts pull its coordinates from. I will investigate this further and see if I can not nail down the cause and solution.

LOL well I'm glad you got yours fixed all I get is a page that says
No caches met your distance search parameters.

Please press your browser's back button and double check your distance search entries.

I go back and can't find anything about distance paramerters.
So I'm lost . USA 45

Maybe PC Medic can look at it for you, it looks like you have the same issues MW had.

Fixed....

Also, in your cache listings you had the 'Support Our Troops' image located in the Special Comments section. This area should not be used for images of any kind and is reserved for special instructions needed by the searcher (ie; Beware of steep cliff, Park closes at dark, etc. ). All other text and images should be placed within the cache description field.

I have moved the images to the proper area on your current caches.
