Whew! I am extremely happy to announce that the geocaching tile (or scrolling) maps for Alaska have been completed. Each of these maps is the same scale as the ones which cover the lower 48 states, approximately sixty miles on a side. I'm almost embarrassed to say how many maps there are, just suffice it to say that there are more individual maps of Alaska on this web site than there currently are geocaches in the state. I certainly expect that to change however as geocaching continues to grow!

In the meantime, you can use these new maps to explore anywhere from Anchorage to Fairbanks, or from Juneau all the way north to Prudhoe Bay and Barrow. You can even explore the Aleutian Islands as far west as remote Akutan and Unalaska.

Here are some URLs to get you started:

< Alaska >
< Anchorage >
< Fairbanks >
< Juneau >
< Prudhoe Bay >
< Barrow >
< Akutan >
< Unalaska >

Have fun exploring Alaska!
