Hi, one of the features I use a lot on that other site which shall remain nameless is the feature where I can do body background = background.jpg and set a background theme image.  Another thing I can do on that other site is put a img src=image.jpg align=left etc., to jazz up my listing a bit with an image.  Can I do those things here, if so, point me to the RTFM, and if not, consider this a feature request!  Thanks!

Ditto lowracer's question/comment.  The creative control we have on the cache page at the other site is a HUGE plus as far as I'm concerned.  I'm not trying to bust on you - just letting you know what you're up against.

Simple answer is that photos ARE permitted within the description to "jazz up" your listing. :thumbs-up

Backgrounds however are NOT permitted. This decision was made for a few reasons including maintaining conformity and readability throughout the site.

OK yeah I guess I should have at least tried the img src= thing before posting.  It does indeed work.  That's awesome.  I can see your point on the body background feature.  Some folks do get carried away with the distracting backgrounds.  The 'other' site takes care of some of that problem by using a plain white background for the 'meat' of the cache listing, and leaves a bit of a border for us to play with.  Would something like that be OK?  No big deal but I do like to really customize the heck out of my cache pages, and I find the standard navicache embossed logo background running through my listing to be distracting.  

Feature Request: How about giving us a palette of about ten or fifteen different navicache-approved color/texture background choices and a plain background for the meat of the cache listing?

This should be what happens now, meat of the cache listing is locked but your background will display around the border.
Go ahead and give it try on your next submission and if it is not what's happening, you found a bug and we will look into it.

The pre-approved color/texture idea is a good one and we will look into this also.
