Posted by Guest on Nov. 03 2002,4:50 pmI had such a goodtime caching today with Casey; we set a goal to have 100 finds by Christmas. I'm not too sure if we can do it or not. The weather and my job play big roles. I just feel this gives us a little more ambition. Plus we have nothing to lose except a little weight. LOL
Well anyways, if you have any geocaching goals, maybe you can post them here. It would be cool to see the goals, if any, that other members might have.
Posted by Quinn on Nov. 03 2002,6:54 pmI think my main goal would be to see the sport branch out into many forms of the game. GPS can and should be used in many fashions besides just a means to navigate while on the road or in the field.
I would also say that seeing the word "Geocaching" as a common place everyday word would be nice as well.
By the way... I can't thank you all enough for the great help you have all provided in making sure that Navicache gets spread around the mass population .
Posted by mikechim on Nov. 05 2002,1:29 amI'd have to say my goal is to get back into caching. I've taken a pretty long hiatus (sp?) during the last couple months. I didn't even place 1 cache this summer, the saddest thing is I've got ammo boxes sitting in my room and a long, scenic, unique puzzle type cache that I'd worked on for 3 months all mapped out, just never got around to placing it.
Just to much other stuff sucking up time, man I need to win the lotto or something.

mikechim, I wondered where you had wandered off to. I'm in the same boat. I have a new puzzle cache all ready to go, but just need to find the time to place it.
I realize I have to place a cache before someone can attempt it, but my personal goal is to see more geocachers attempt my caches. The awareness of Navicache still isn't very high in the geocaching community.

I'm sure Quinn and the team have something up their sleeve. This site seems to be growing everyday. When the new features are added, even more members will be stopping by! It just amazes me the number of geocaching.com members that still don't know about this site. The members here are way cool and the information you can obtain is very useful for a geocacher.
I'm sure in time and a little patience, this site will be as popular as ever.
Posted by tatoeba on Nov. 18 2002,3:59 pmI hope that 'multi' caches game will be of any interest to geocachers! I like to find caches but as some of you mentioned in this thread I love to prepare for others to enjoy
Let's see how my project will go (a little bit anxious here )
< Legendeo > is still in beta!

I'm still around, just not much anymore. Given up on putting that one out til next spring with hunting season starting and the snowfall.
Hopefully my caching related activity will pick up again soon, someone just placed a bunch of caches around here so I may go have to hit them, especially since they've hit mine.
They logged them here as well, so word of the site is spreading. I always include a navicache thing either on the box or in the logbook asking people to log here as well. Think it's a good way to spread the word.
Man Green Bay got killed, and my boy Farve was just throwing them away today
Posted by Guest on Nov. 30 2002,9:21 pm14 more caches to go before we get to 100
Posted by logscaler on Dec. 06 2002,6:41 pmRed and I have a goal of trying to break 500 by the first of the year. That leaves us somewhere around thirty I think? maybe less by know, I had better check I guess. logscaler.
Posted by Guest on Jan. 06 2003,5:20 amThis is the longest span Upinyachit has went without finding a cache since we started caching. It's been about 37 days since our last find. Now that the holidays are over hopefully the snow will go away too. Until then, we are just haggin in there until we get a break.
