A Nov.9, 1999 study published in the Behavioral Medicine showed that university students who walked and did other easy to moderate exercises regularly had lower stress levels than couch potatoes or those who exercised strenuously.  Walking can help relieve stress.

Walking gives you time to think, as well as time to get away from the stressors.  Getting out of a stressful environment,
breathing fresh air and feeling your body move is natural stress reliever!  Thought you all should know!!!  :^:

Nice to know that caching is beneficial to us all!

So get out there and cache, cache, cache!!!!!   ;)

I admire a guy named Colin Fletcher. He has written several backpacking books, the first I read back in 1971.  He must be in his 80s and just finished updating his book “The Complete Walker”.

Hiking certainly worked for him.

Oh yeah, and then there was Hulda Crooks, who I was honered to have pass me in the dust years ago. < http://www.llu.edu/news/today/dec3/llu.htm#hulda >
