I finely got my gps.  I bought a Meridian Gold (sorry Garman users) and I spent all day playing with it and my brother went and bought one last night after I have been telling him about Caching.  There is one next to where he lives and several around me.  He wants to go tonight and I am also ready.  Any advices for me.  I would like to thank every one for there help also.  I need to buy some soft ware and do not know what is the best for me.  Thanks and I am ready to go on the hunt.

Unless you are *REAL* familiar with the area and how to use a GPS or this is an extremely easy cache, I am not sure I would recommend a night hunt as your first. Might be best to wait till daylight.

Be sure to take extra batteries if it is a long hike, dress appropriately, cell phone if you have one (just in case) and oh yeah!, don't forget some trade items :grinnin

That is great advice PC Medic.  We own a  Meridian Gold too and it works well for us.  Good luck with caching and have fun.

yeah, for sure.

Been a number of caches that in my haste to get to, I end up leaving my trades in my vehicle.

I have cached at nite in a totally unfamiliar area, and even with a bright light, it was a challenge.  Have fun with all of them.
