Posted by Quinn on Feb. 13 2002,6:01 pmI am about to have shirts made up with our new Cacher logo seen on the main page, There will be a Logo (Full Size) on the back of the shirts, and a left chest Logo for the front showing same image but coming through our navicache original Logo. Once they get here I will add them to the main page for all to see. These will be silk screened.
Posted by Quinn on Feb. 13 2002,6:02 pmBy the way Scout...I would love a Geodashing shirt
Posted by Scout on Feb. 13 2002,6:25 pm
They are available, but I don't vouch for the supplier. It's the same supplier that I think you abandoned. The patterns don't hold up all that well in the wash. But, if anyone wants one, they are available via the "Shop" link on the < http://Geodashing.org > Web site. Geodashing takes no commission from sales.
Posted by Quinn on Feb. 13 2002,6:50 pmActually I liked those shirts. I still have a couple of my old ones and thought they were nice. But yes...they did charge quite a bit and I also took no profit from them. These new ones will be much better though. i'll look at yours!
Posted by Quinn on Feb. 17 2002,6:05 pmPlaced a large order for shirts today, they said they would be in about 2 weeks. Very nice silkscreened images on both front and back. I will post a picture of the shirts when they arrive.
Posted by Quinn on Mar. 08 2002,8:53 amI just got word that our shirt order has been finished and that they have shipped to me. I was told we should have them within 5 days of this posting.
All shirts are a white very top quality "T" with A large "Calvin Cache" Logo on the back, and a smaller as well as Different Calvin Logo over the left chest front.
As soo as they arrive I will place an image on the main page for all to see.
Posted by Quinn on Mar. 14 2002,4:20 amOur shirts are here...
I will be adding the pix of our new shirts on the main page shortly. But so you know they are a very heavy and highest quality 100% cotton "Hanes Beefy-T".
The pirces are S - XL = 14.00 and XXL = 16.00.
I am figuring the shipping cost now but can't see it being more than a dollar or two.
Prices are a bit higher than normal shirts due to the Quality and the simple fact that they are silk screened and baked on both sides of the shirt instead of just one side.
Also these are 5 color prints instead of the common 3.
If any of you are interested you can e-mail me the size you want and I'll send a payment request via pay-pal.
On the back of the shirt is a custom Logo of "Calvin" I full print, on the front is "Calvin" in a burst through over the left chest. These are very nice shirts!

Any idea of costs to ship to UK please?
Posted by Quinn on Mar. 14 2002,4:59 amWe are working on a full table...I'll get back to you later today and let you know.
Posted by DxChallenged on Mar. 14 2002,6:16 amAny chance of getting t-shirts for kids made up....Maybe youth medium-large? So that a variety of kids could fit into them.
Posted by Quinn on Mar. 14 2002,6:26 amYes...on the next batch I can have this done. How old or big are your kids? Maybe a small will fit, I'll have to have my 8yr old daughter try one on.
Posted by Choberiba on Mar. 15 2002,1:09 amI'm going to let my four year old use the XXL as a tent.
Seriously though, are we supposed to manually tell you that we want one (In which case email@example.com is awaiting your paypal request) or are you going to create a link that does a lot of this work for you?
In a related note, can you setup something with PayPal to accept donations automagically on a monthly basis?
Say....$3 a month?
Posted by Gimpy on Mar. 15 2002,1:44 amHooo-Rahhh. Hey Quinn. How about if I just pop in at or meet you near your house & pay cache for 2 or 3 of em. If you'd rather do the pay pal thing, I can do that too. But no need to ship them.
Posted by Quinn on Mar. 15 2002,5:33 am
Brian is working on a link for this now, but until it is in place I can send you a request and will ship it right out to you, just provide me with the shipping infor when you respond to the request.
Gimpy, e-mail me and let me know what you would like and I will get them ready for you. I can bring them to the shop for you to pick up or even drop them off for you as I am always on the road.
Posted by Quinn on Mar. 15 2002,10:53 amJust so you guys can get a view of the shirts until we get them added on their own page I have included a back and front view image of them here... The back is a full size Image of "Calvin" in silk screen and baked into the best Quality heavy-T out there. The front image is placed over the left chest.
Posted by Quinn on Mar. 15 2002,11:00 amThis Image is of the front left chest...

I can wait for the link.
The more people that use the link, the easier it is to justify it's creation.
I'll mainly wear it to cache events and there isn't anything scheduled for a while.
I keep waiting for my doorbell to ring with the postal-dude delivering the III+ I bought. ::tail wagging::
Posted by Quinn on Mar. 15 2002,1:09 pmYou'll love that IIIPlus...very nice unit!
Posted by DxChallenged on Mar. 15 2002,1:55 pmHey! This must be delivery day!! Fed Ex came with my V !
I asked if it could be delivered between 1-3...He came at 1:10 I was getting ready to call FedEx...But Foo who believes all delivery men are evil alerted me to his arrival. I met the delivery guy in the driveway and said "This is MY GPS" he just smiled and looked tired............
Then before I knew it we had his and hers GPS on the dash
What do you get when you cross a III+ with a V. Color envy?
Posted by mikechim on Mar. 15 2002,5:49 pmI don't know about color envy but me and by little extrex venture definately have gps envy
Posted by Gimpy on Mar. 16 2002,10:07 amQuinn did no fibbin' on this one. These shirts are really nice quality. Calvin image is excellent. What would be really nice, would be the ability to order a lightweight jacket with the same design. Any chance of this happening, Quinn? I know in the past, some places I've ordered custom T's from, they've also carried other products that they could reproduce the design on. A white, lightly lined, spring/fall type jacket would be great. Sure would be good way to advertise the site/activity as well.
Posted by Road Kill on Mar. 16 2002,1:58 pmI got to have one of these shirts. I feel so undress with just my hat.
Oops wrong hat.
Dang it! Anyone see my hat?
Posted by Gimpy on Mar. 16 2002,2:35 pmIt's probably chasing something in the back yard.
Posted by Quinn on Mar. 16 2002,3:25 pm
Lets just hope it doesn't mate, thats all we need is little Roadkill hats running around.
By the way Gimpy, I am glad you liked the shirts. I owe you 2.00 and will try to get it placed in one of your caches soon, or I could just hide it and give you the coordinates.
Posted by Gimpy on Mar. 16 2002,6:17 pmJust put the $2.00 in the Navi-kitty. Thanks
Posted by dgridley on Mar. 25 2002,5:07 pmDang! Word certainly gets around.. look what I found in the NaviCache World News this morning!
Better get yours while you still can as I hear they're going fast!
Email Quinn via this website for more info!

If you look very carefully, in the stop press, is the news that they have reached the UK.
One has been spotted hiding in Bolsover, Derbyshire, but hasn't yet ventured out on a UK geocache or dash.
Posted by dgridley on Mar. 30 2002,11:13 am
We'll know Calvin Cache has really made it when we start seeing kids wearing the Calvin Cache logo on the sneakers.
Posted by PC Medic on Mar. 30 2002,1:06 pmAnd to make it easier for you to order your NaviTee, you can now place your order and pay online.
Just follow this link to < Order Your Navitee >!
Posted by 300mag on April 02 2002,8:25 pmI got mine promptly. It fits very well and it is of good quality. Plus it even found a few caches already. Paid extra for the cache pulling unit. Theres a cable around the collar that connects to your gps. When you get close to a cache the shirt pulls you right up to it.
Posted by NetDep on April 16 2002,9:02 amJust curious. I do not have, nor do I know how to use, PayPal. I have ordered things online with my credit card and have been quite happy with that. I would like to order a couple of shirts but feel at a loss. Either a short explanation or ability to use credit cards would help. BTW, Florida Geocachers Ass'n are meeting in various spots - could you maybe "front" some shirts to them for sale at the meetings? Just a thought - appreciate all the help. Expect to find that first cache soon - as soon as schedule permits. Entered the long/lat into the V and anxious to start.

On the main page click on the "Shirt" image and that will take you to the purchase screen, just pick the size and number of shirts you want and then go to "Check out"...in this area you will see a box that says " never used pay-pal before?" click that box and it will then take you to the area where you can sign up with your credit card. Pay-pal is very secure and a great form of transactions. If this is still not a method you would like to use and would prefer to mail out a check that is fione as well. You can e-mail me here firstname.lastname@example.org with what you would like and I will respnd with total and also address in order to mail the check to. I send these out Priority mail in the US so you get them fast. Let me know if any more help is needed.
Posted by Morseman on April 17 2002,2:54 pmI can vouch for the speed of delivery, and the suitability of Pay Pal.
I bought a Tee Shirt with my very first Pay Pal purchase, and the Tee Shirt arrived very shortly after.
Plus, I'm in the UK, not the USA, so I'm possibly a bit further away.
