There is a new update out there for you Magellan 315 owners that will fix that pesky auto averaging feature that really puts a whammy on you while caching. So now if you move even at a slow pace it will kick the auto averaging off and all is great.

I had a problem updating the Mag315 on Win98SE on two different units.

One of the units is a dual boot system - rebooted into Win2K - no problem updating the firmware.

I'm happy to report that Auto-Averaging stops quickly, and the Mag315 now tracks down to 0.5 mph. :^:

No more hula-waves or Mag tosses! :grinnin
