I have attempted to send Buxley additional  caches for his "Special Caches" page, since June 2010, but he has not added any of them.

There are various thread in these forums discussing these types of caches, but not a single place to simply share an updated list.

I'd like to keep this thread solely dedicated to listing them, not to discussing their merits.  If you discover any or list a new one, please reply.  I'll plan to update this post, so we have single, consolidated list.

Here is what I have, so far.

* Checker Cab (found by DG)
* Grandma's Clothesline
* Distance Caching 101
* Diners, Drive-In's, and Dives (found by DG)
* Foreign Telephone Booth
* Miles of Mules - LOCATIONLESS CACHE (found by DG)
* Navi-What? (owned by DG)
* No Minutes, No Seconds (found by DG)
* The Pancake (found by DG)
* Pennsylvania History Markers (can be done outside PA) (found by DG)
* Quadrivia (found by DG)
* Quintuples on the meridian - Virtual multi loc.
* RAWS
* Union Pacific No. 2010 BSA Locomotive (Moving Virtual) (owned by DG)
* webcam race 2008 (speed camera)  (found by DG)
* Yellow Jeep Fever (found by DG)

The following are RETIRED and listed for information / inspirational purposes only.  Please, DO NOT log these.

* Birdcam! - RETIRED
* Hamfest Fever - RETIRED
* webcam race 2007 (Hoover-Dam) - RETIRED (found by DG)

Again, if you have something to be added, please post it.

Thanks.  I've added it above.

I may try to hit N 39 W 77, this weekend.  Per Google Maps, it looks to be in the middle of an apartment building, though.

I just added webcam race 2008 (speed camera) - One benefit to getting a speeding ticket.  I'd know about this one, but noticed it wasn't on the list.  Yes, I recently qualified for this cache (FTF, BTW) and noticed when I went to look for it.

This is a reverse locationless cache, so just log this cache with a photo of
Your speeding ticket and the corresponding Google Maps link to the camera.
Other users are not allowed to log that same location as a find.
This search is worldwide!

Also, I did hear from Buxley a while back and he confirmed that he is lo longer updating his "Special Caches" page.  I meant to ask him if he could at least add a link to this thread, but don't think I ever did.  I'll drop him a note and see.

Funny thing.  After logging this today, I got a note from the owner that someone also logged the OpenCaching.de listing for this same cache, TODAY.  Both were the first time they've been logged, since listed in 2008.  Weird.

On my way to a traditional Navicache, yesterday, I finally came across an intersection to allow me to log the Quadrivia locationless / virtual.  Woot!:D

Hello,  I am a cabin owner on island lake. A small Rubbermaid container with black duct tape washed ashore on my beach.  It it was a small note book and a very small plastic managing cube with a dime in it.  Looks like the last few entrys  were on 10/9/10 by jick narson. Then on 10/10/10 paand Tina. Then on 10/11/10. Kalli01.  Then on 10/14/10. Was sixsponsa TFTC. Then the last was 10/17/10 by ashan.  Not sure what u want me to do with it. My email is robdirving@gmail.com. My cabin is at the end of the east van road on island lake in the extreme southeast corner of the lake on the east side of rice lake road. I am thinking the 9" rain fall washed it free into the lake.  Hmm now that I think about it I'm going to hide it. So here are the clues.  I am on an island you will need to leave from a place appropriately named after what this is all about and head in a south easterly direction. But not to far east.  U will come to a piece of land that is large enough not to look like where I am, but I can be circumnavigated when the water is full. There are only two of us on this big piece of land.  The cache will be hidden 20 paces due west of the great wooden tub in the rocks. If u have no boat do not fear use a map and u can walk in the drive with the big rock on the left side of the drive up the hill and stay left. These r enough clues. Good luck.  Ps this is just north of Duluth mn.

Guessing this may have actually been a gc.com cache, I've come up with the following cacher profile matches...

jicknarson 10/9/10
paandtina 10/10/10
Aix sponsa 10/14/10
ashan 10/17/10
eskoclimber 10/(18)/10

Luckily, ashan only logged 4 caches on 10/17...
paandtina only logged 3 of those...
and jicknarson only logged 2 of those...
and EskoClimber found both of those...

boomers revenge #3 by muskybanger | GC2GBJJ | Minnesota
boomers revenge #2 by muskybanger | GC2GBJ2 | Minnesota

Finally I figured out that "sixsponsa" was Aix sponsa.  She found these 2 on 10/14/10 and found boomers revenge #4 on 10/23, but since all of the named cachers didn't log that one, I'm looking at just #2 and #3

Though, I'm thinking it may be Boomer's Revenge #4, since no one has logged a find on that once sinc 10/23/10.  Only problem is that jicknarson logged a DNF on that one.  Hmm...

I sent a note to the CO via GC.com.

Found Checker Cab, yesterday!  Pure chance, though I was hunting a Munzee at "The New York Deli" in Waldorf, MD.  I'm assuming it's essentially a "prop" for the business, though it does have current tags.
