Mostly mosquitos, black flies, deer flies, yellowjackets, white-faced hornets, ants, spiders, ticks, fleas, and other assorted unpleasant things. But we also have encountered deer, various snakes, (possibly) a bear, dozens of bird species, newts, toads, frogs, bullheads, turtles, squirrels, chipmunks, mice, moles, voles, rabbits, a coyote, bats, feral cats, fox, otters, and glimpses of various other beasties we couldn't immediately identify.
Actually, we're as (or more) interested in the wildlife and vegetation on our cache hides and hunts as we are in the caches. Another excuse to get out in the woods!
