You can also check out GXProxy. They make very nice (well, nicer than laminated print outs and less nice than the real coin) "proxies" that can be sent out in place of the actual geocoin.
No matter what you do, there is a fair chance that a coin as nice as you say this on is, will go "missing" (into someone's collection), before long if you goes out. As long as you are OK with that, feel free to release it. You might want to create a difficult terrain and / or puzzle cache for it to star off in, if you're looking for a worth cache to launch it.
