This weather is unbelievable. Waking up to snap, crackle, and pop isn't cool. Thankfully we still have electric and no tree limbs came down on our house or cars yet. This ice storm doesn't seem to be as bad as the ice storm back in 91,
but it is bad enough to where I can't work, and all four kids are home from school.
I don't recall a time in my twelve-year career of being a carpenter where I have had so much time off of work due to the weather. It is taking a toll on my financial situation, and I am sick of it. Candie and I have already started making arrangements to move to Jacksonville, FL. There is just no way I am going through another winter in Rochester, NY. The building is booming out in Fl, and there just seems to be more opportunities. You can look for yourself at Jacksonville.com.
More jobs and the cost of living is cheaper.
P.S. I would find a cache today, but a tree limb might fall on my head.
