OK...I'm gonna assume this fellow has just fallen into a hige pot hole and is just stuck up to his neck. But please lets keep things a bit more umm, should we say "family friendly" and try to sway away from things like this ??? As a matter of fact it would be even nicer if you edited that and maybe place a Monet in its place or something.  :)

I like the new pic better (even though I've scene it before) than the guy who was um.. "in the hole"... Choberiba.  Stuff like that is best kept to rotten.com or faces of death or something, like others have said the first was a said little to much for this site (though I have to admit I did see the  humor in the scope of the original post, even though I was at first taken aback a little bit.... still not sure which was more disturbing though, it or the though of Quinn in black pumps

And look at that problem resolved with the POSTER censoring himself without anyone being banned  :)

It was wrong, wrong, wrong of me to have posted that image in this forum. Whether it was meant in jest or if anyone saw the humor or not, this just isn't the place for that style of contribution.

I owe everyone here an apology and not some off the cuff "sorry", but the type I'd expect my daughter to make if she caused others to feel uncomfortable.

I honestly enjoy that kind of humor myself, but what I enjoy even more is a feeling of knowing what to expect when I come to Navicache. My post was contrary to those expectations. PC Medic and Quinn cut me *lots* of slack with this one, politely asking me to edit, which I did.

This is what Navicache is about, not censorship, not anger, not locker-room humor or anything where one has to question how this is influencing you or your family. Clean wholesome grass-roots fun.

Like bluegrass music on a sunny spring day, this is a time and a place to relax. A place to unwind and see the world as a place to explore, to get away from the imagery that is presented on the news.

My bringing an image to abhor into this place of tranquility was a grave error in judgement on my part. A deplorable and irresponsable act that I promise never to repeat.

Sincerely
Eric O'Connor

Apology accepted,

Like I said I wasn't really offended but this place is kinda like chillin in a big green grassy field listening to Phish, Bella Fleck, or the like.  So it's all good,

I mean heck, isn't your name Japanese slang for "something very bad"? (gotta love google) so it's understandable. :grinnin

I must say I was impressed by the way it was handled all around by everyone from the mods to yourself.  Things like this are the reason in my opinion that this site is far superior.

Now lets all sit in a circle and sing kum ba yaa  :D

Well personally I think you're being a little hard on yourself here.

While a change in the image was urged, you didn't really have to be quite that drastic. We do appreciate the cooperation though. I actually thought that they were funny myself, and had sent them to some friends

But, while I am the Ted Nugent, Alice Cooper, and Creed type myself, I need to remember not everyone is, and when I come here , and slip into my CSNY, Eagles and Bob Dylan peronality  :grinnin

*By the way.....That is one serious piece of Geocaching gear that guy is packing ! :^:

I have a tendency to behave like a light switch.
I'm either on, or I'm off. (my rocker in this case)

The response I received from the powers that be (AKA you and Quinn) were ideal. They pointed out an error in judgement on my part without a hint of being upset. I may have been a little hard on myself, but since I sent you a message within seconds of posting the image I was clearly behaving inappropriately with full knowledge of my actions.

In short, if either of you had flown off the handle, I would'nt have felt quite as sheepish. I would have changed the image and my reaction would have been polite, but I wouldn't have felt any regret. Is this irony?

I think it's important for people to know where the boundaries are. I know where these boundaries are and for whatever reason decided to cross the line.

The email list I received this on is a very twisted place indeed, in that context the submission was not only appropriate but very well received by all.

My post (Picture) started it all. Didn't mean for it to erupt. ???

Shall we move on?

Everything I Needed To Know About Life I Learned From The Easter Bunny
Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Walk softly and carry a big carrot.

Everyone needs a friend who is all ears.

There's no such thing as too much candy.

All work and no play can make you a basket case.

A cute little tail attracts a lot of attention.

Everyone is entitled to a bad hare day.

Let happy thoughts multiply like rabbits.

Some body parts should be floppy

Keep your paws off other people's jellybeans.

Good things come in small-sugarcoated packages.

The grass is greener in someone else's basket.

An Easter bonnet can tame even the wildest hare.

To show your true colors you have to come out of the shell.

The best things in life are still sweet and gooey.

Have a Happy Easter.....
