Doesn't seem to be much action in these forums, so I thought I would put in my 2 cents.
Just started a geocoin collection, via ebay.   How does one know/find out/search for new issues.  At least find out BEFORE all are sold out, so I have a shot at getting one or two?

There are some geocoin subscription services where you can get the latest (usually once a month) coin sent to you for a paid subscription price. geocoins.net forums also has a new coin announcement forum as well as buy/sell/trade.

You can look in the Trading Post on Terracachers.org for coins that are coming out.  A lot of new coins are posted on Cointracking.com as well.

There are some other cool ways to get coins other than at events, etc.
There is at least one company that has a coin club where you are shipped a coin and matching lapel pin monthly.
This is a good way to get some neat coins into your collection pretty fast.
Good luck with your collection. They are a lot of fun.

Hello, Mother Wolf here. I am new & was reading some of the threads & noticed this one. I realize its been awhile since there was a post here however for anyone who is interested in coins a great place to go is The cachebug. They list a BUNCH of other coin vendors that you can sign up for notification of new STUFF. It is a good way to get ahead of the eBay bunch for getting coins. Good Luck   Ta   MW :)

Hi All, new member here and in fact the idea of collecting geocoins is what attracted me to the activity in the first place. Some of the designs are really creative and original, so if anybody out there has any coins available for sale (or maybe swap for something) then please send me a message. I would really like to kick start a collection. Freat site, Great Activity, and really looking fwd to getting going.

(Of course any gifts accepted also :) )

There's a geocacher in my area that is a prolific geocoin creater.  I'm sure she'd be more than happy to let you know when new coins are coming out.

Cinemaboxers is her handle.
