The forums have a 'remember me' option when you log in. However it's never worked for me at all.  It works on every other forum I've been on so I'm wondering if it's a setting that is wrong on these forums or something these forums don't like in a browser that can cause the issue?

I am not sure I even checked, 'remember me' but if I close all windows and reopen, then goto forums,  I did not have to re-login.  Is this when this occurs for you?
I haven't tried it the next day or anything, yet.

The site (including the forums) use cookies to remember you.
If you have your browsers security set too high or set to disable cookies, this can happen. A stuck (corrupt) cookie file on your end can also cause this.

Now because you say other forums work fine (and most I am familiar with use cookies) my guess is the stuck cookie. Do a file search on your system for 'navicache'. When you find the cookie file simply delete it and then come back to the site and login. This should fix the problem.

I also notice you have your login time set to '0' in your MyNavicache profile. This means when you close your browser, the login cookie will be cleared. Try setting it to 604800 and see if that helps.

I had that problem forever. But for the longest time, I've found a routine that works, so I've stuck with it. Whether it's needed or not, I don't know, but it works.

First, make sure you have your login time set to some large number, as PC Medic suggests. Then, always start at the Navicache home page, then click on My Navicache, then click on Discuss Caching. The cookies have always worked when I've gotten into the forums through that sequence.

Yep, thats what I do too.
Sometimes it will already remember me, sometimes not (never have figured out why/when it does that). If it doesn't just two clicks and it knows.... so much easier than re-entering user and pw.
