We had the shirts until just recently. Before reordering we are looking into different vendors so that we may be able to offer them at a lower price.

That's good news.

ok...thanks for the reply, but I see this topic goes back 2-3 years ago..

Has there ever been something other than t-shirts?

Not yet.

That is why I am also looking at things like Bumper Stckers, Window Clings (for those like me that detest stickers!), maybe some wooden nickels, and more.

If folks have ideas on other items and what they would feel is a fair price to pay, this would help on choosing what to carry. So suggest away.

I would like to see some type of 'cache sticker' , t-shirt,wooden nickle and other 'cache contents' would be good....maybe key chains?  When and if you ever get any of these items,  will you have a 'store'? You said you had some before, what all did you have? What were the more popular items? Like I said in a earlier post, this topic started almost 3 years ago...why did it die?...lack of interest? prices too high?

I'd like a rear window, static cling banner or a license plate frame.

max $15 and $10, respectively.

Would an inflatable cache partner be a good store item?

Have you considered CafePress to facilitate your storefront (and ideas)?

Yes, CafePress has been considered, but their pices are not the best. For example your suggested price of $10 for a License Plate Frame would not be do-able with CafePress.

This may be if nothing else a 'temporary' solution however.

Cafepress's quality is not very good, you can duplicate it at home with your own iron-on printouts. Check out http://www.zazzle.com they have really nice shirts and a ink infusion process much superior to iron-ons.

Other items I would love to see would be pencils, compasses, pins, patches

could somebody please let me know where I might find custom stickers at a reasonable price, I want to have a small quantity of personalised cache stickers made up.

Even better, does anyone know where I might get hold of some inkjet printable waterproof sticker paper in green or desert brown? I have this wonderful waterproof ink printer, but no idea where to get hold of the paper!

more on topic, though, I'd definately buy a navicache cling or two, unlikely to buy bumper stickers as I don't like to put stickers on my paintwork. An embroidered logo on a black wooly hat would be good too, for the cold climates.

Well Duke, I saw a squiggly thing at the end of your sentence ("am I beating a 'dead horse' here?"), so I offered my opinion ("possibly beaten").

This thread originated with the good intentions of the Admin in 2001.  You and others have responded with contributions.  At one time, I clarified that only t-shirts have ever been offered.  The horse doesn't seem to be moving hence my cartoon and opinion.  I know the Admins have "real lives" and a list of priorities on this site.  They are not obligated to run with our ideas, newsletter submissions, or good will.  We take whatever comes.  Some cachers have forged ahead with many resources to create their own "products".  As I previously posted, there's always cafepress.com, but you might be cautious with any logo infringement.

I personally use WheresGeorge.com bills to promote NaviCache.  I am also to the point of getting my own license plate frame and/or car window "vinyl".

Of course, I know that the Admins have 'real lives'. I believe the thread asked for opinions/suggestions and all I was doing was giving mine and asking if there was any progress.
Don't worry, I won't offer my opinions and suggestions in the future.

Duke,

I think you misunderstand.  I trust we are of the same mindset, we both offer our opinion that the topic is possibly a "dead horse".  We have both tried to contribute.  Any "product" might only come from our self-initiative.  Clear?  We're both noticing that there seems to be a hugh gap/delay in the thread.  Your defensiveness is a waste of your best energies, you have/had my empathy.

Due to many emails requesting Navicache logo'd items we are now offering a few items HERE while we continue to look into pricing from various suppliers.

We appreciate your patience while we work on this and if you have any suggestions, please let us know.

Hey Volvo Man, check your printer documents, they usually will tell you something about [where to get supplies]. You can also try going to the manufactures web page and look there.  Other options are to check with Office Supply companies, you may have to special order [along with being costly]. Hope this helps SF1

Seems I may be beating the (different) dead horse now. Items have been available for several months now, yet I have received several emails lately asking "Where can I get...? "

So I wanted to bump this topic and remind everyone you can get Navicache branded items .

The link is now available from most pages on the site and we also hope to have more items in-house in the near future.
