That is a shame to see this happen especially for the geocaching community. Unfortunately it is also inevitable outcome when you are providing a feature for a restrictive, controlling service.

I understand how he feels as we have been there, done that with them. Decided to continue on any way with our 'open caching' platform.

Perhaps as you say someone else will continue on with it.
