they are no more than mere curtains or fancy paint on a car.

These stars you see are from posating more on the forums. If you post after a certain number of times you get another star. It really means nothing at all. So for those that post quite a bit, they will show more stars. If you look at mine it's only because I am a Star  :oo:

Don't listen to Quinn. The stars really are a measure of a geocacher's self worth. There's nothing you can do to increase or decrease the number. It's something you're born with. You either have it or you don't. ;-)

Seriously, listen to Quinn.

There, that wasn't that hard to say.

P.S. How come you're only a four pack?

P.P.S. Quinn, it looks like that bug with quoting is back again. Once you edit your post, the quote loses the name and date of the original poster who is being quoted.

I don't measure myself by the stars. I measure myself by the number of finds! I RULE!!!

Can you get a second star if you are two cans short of a 6 pack?

I know that stars are given out for creativity.......

I'm shinning even as I type...glow..glow..glow...

And the response my 11 year old would have if I said that to her would be...."Oh! I'm gonna barf!"

:p

Quinn says the stars mean nothing and he is right. If anything they're a measure of how much the member likes to open their mouth whether they say anything of value or not. :0

Some could do better to speak less if they would say more.  :grinnin

For me stardom is having a fine hat.
