Over the last week, I've logged 8 new Navicaches.

Last week, I was prepping for a trip from home (Jessup, MD) to a BSA summer camp (north of Doylestown, PA), then down to Fenwick Island, DE and back home and loaded a bunch of OpenCachingUS, TerraCaching and Navicache hides (along with a few GC.com virtuals) to my GPS's (Nuvi255w & 60CSx).

I ended up finding 7 Navicaches on my trip, plus I realized I was able to log on "locationless" NC virtual, last Monday.  5 were crosslisted on GC.com, but I logged them as Finds here and Notes there.  I like to be able to add my number up for each site and have a total that doesn't include duplicates.

Navicaches found, this week:
Green Walls #2 by DiS02
2 Laughing Hawks Calling by DiS02
3 Black Crows Sitting by DiS02
Historic Fallsington Walking Tour by bacgmz
Christmas 1776 by bacgmz
Skippy, what are you doing here? by bacgmz
A "Crum"my Cache by Siageah
Miles Of Mules - LOCATIONLESS CACHE by cybermir

I also found 6 unique GC.com caches, 2 OCUS hides, and 5 TC's.  2 of the GC caches were just because I spotted a man and 2 kids paying an undue amount of attention to a sign along the side of the road.

Now that I've topped 25 finds here, I'm gonna make an effort to hit 50 by the end of the year.

I was recently in Western New York / NW Pennsylvania for GeoWoodstock IX.  There are lots of Navicaches listed up there, but a couple of things kept me from looking for any.

1) Many Navicaches used to be crosslisted on GC.com and have since been archived there, but orphaned here.  Generally, this means that they are listed here, but the cache is actually not there, anymore.

2) I'd be happy to run a query for just virtuals, which I'd feel much more confident that it would still be doable.  However, I am not aware of any way to filter searches or maps in such a way.

3) From my experience, the GPX files I pull down from Navicache, are incomplete.  For the caches I did this week and knew were crosslisted, I actually loaded the GPX from GC.com.  Otherwise, I had to use GSAK to  manually update the non-crosslisted Navicaches by copying and pasting the info from the cache page.

4) Though it wasn't an issue in WNW / NWPA, it would nice to filter the Buxley Maps view / searches to now show cache I've already found.

Just some thoughts.  Interested in any feedback or workarounds others might have.

I will doing a cache run to the Norfolk / VA Beach are in August and will see about trying to grab a few more NC

I live in Va. Beach so maybe if time permits (I always seem to be too busy to get out lately) we will get a chance to put an eyeball on each other.

It'll be an overnight run on August 17/18, so we'll likely be in the area sometime Saturday morning.

I'll be trying to sort through area NC's between now and then.
