As the owner of 8 of the 10 oldest Texas caches on Navicache.com (many of them virtuals!), let me welcome y'all to Navicache. There haven't been many Texans here. I'm glad to see that starting to change. Lots of new chances to be FTF. ;-)

Yeah, took us awhile, but some of us are getting "sick up and fed" with another listing site which shall remain nameless.  You're seeing the result of that frustration by many of us posting our caches here.  Some are just now realizing that one man (one company) must not be allowed to control this sport.  And in Texas we have a certain independent streak that really chafes when someone from another state tries to tell us what to do!  So you're seeing calls to secede from that other site and post here instead.  We'll see what happens...

Cybercat here as another disillusioned member of the "other" geocaching website.  It's going to take me forever, but I WILL list all of my 71 hides (so far) on Navicache.
I see they have a separate area here for Virtuals :rotflmao

Hi...also new here. I see that there are few caches in my part of Tx (SE).. closest one is 55 miles....maybe I should hide a few and see how that works? I'll look and see where the 'How to find/hide' details are. Or,is there a page on this? Is it in the FAQ section?
Thanks

Hi all.  :wave  Another from the "other" side.  I still us it, mainly since there are so many caches listed there, but plan on using this one also now and plan to add to the caches here.  That other place is getting a bit full of itself - and the forum!  Sheesh! :O

Happy caching!  :p

New to this site.  Posted my signature without comments by mistake.
Not sure what I am getting into here but will have a gander.  Don't want to lose data on 2267 finds to date though.
Confused at the moment.

First of all welcome. And don't worry - you don't loose anything by using this website. You might however gain a few finds you couldn't otherwise find.

How did you 'stumble' across this place?

DE_Cryptoman, welcome!  Glad to see another GC4C member here!

Don't worry about losing your 2267 caches "over there".  There fine.  I track my milestones for each site and my combined cache totals.

Let us know if you have any questions.
