Hey, Rock. Glad to see you got it back. That spot is, for sure, one of our all time favorites. We'll be visiting there again.
Got my "Cache Iroquois" cache back yesterday, & it is jam packed with goodies & in excellent condition. I'll be transplanting it, as is, very soon. I've also got a dozen ammo cans en route from cheaperthandirt, so let the new season begin. My conversation with the land manager at Iroquois went well, except for the fact that as long as he's "the man", there won't be any caches allowed on the property. I asked if it could be allowed by permit, & he said yes, but he won't issue one. He wants nothing left there, & thats it! I'll be back there anyway, just to do some hiking & photography. Refuge is 11,000 acres of some of the greatest property around the area. I picked up a bunch of literature for the refuge while I was there, & it is a truly amazing area with a lot of history. Who knows, maybe in time, attitudes will change, & we'll have a shot at accessing this area for our activity.
