I found it! 01 Jan 2004    GPS-O (Letchworth State Park)  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 4.5 )

Morning Glory and I ,along with Hunter started out today(10:30) and were going to do a few of these controls but we were having so much fun doing them,that we did all 24 of them.the weather was great and it was just a great day to be on the trails and in the woods.There were alot of people in the park today and we ran into 1 other group of 3 doing the controls also.They had done 13 when we met up with them.We saw an awful lot of deer and some of them did't seem to mind us being in their territory.This was truly a great way to spend the first day of the year and all of the controls were easy to find even though most of the coord's were off as much as 75 to 100 ft. We did controls 17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40 We finished the last control at 4:00. Thanks for getting us out to enjoy the great outdoors!!

I found it! 20 May 2003    Dishmill Creek Micro  ( Difficulty: 2.5    Terrain: 2.5 )

Ihad a little extra time tonoght so the wife and I decided to go caching .We only had two yet to find in the park so off we went. This cache took us to yet another part of the park that we had never been before. We had no problems finding cache and it was hidden in a nice spot. Thanks for the hide!!

I found it! 20 May 2003    End of 18  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 2.5 )

This is our third run for this cache and the other two times we run out of light.tonight we run out of good weather. We got to the cache just as it started to rain and by the time we got to the truck, we were a little wet.This cache took us to yet another part of the park that we had never been before.It was a nice walk in and the leaves are getting out enough that it makes it hard to view things along the way. Had no problems finding cache and everything is in good shape. Thanks for the hide!!

I found it! 03 May 2003    Along the Roots of Big Bend  ( Difficulty: 2.5    Terrain: 3.5 )

what a nice day for a cache hike. Had no problems finding 1st. part but
never did find 2nd. part. The sat's were all over and they kept taking me
to a certain location but I could't find anything there.So we moved on to
the remaining caches and had no problem finding them even though the
sat's were jumping all over. We spent about 3hr. doing the whole thing.

2nd cache of the day and this was the last one in this park that I had to
do.Had no problem finding cache and everything seemed in good shape.

he wife and I decided to start the new year out with a cache or two. It
was a feezing rain today but when there is caching to be done, you have
to press on. We walked through the paths at polly wogg holler and there
are some very interesting things to catch the eye. It would be even more
interesting when the snow is gone.We found the cache with no problems
after we walked the scenic paths.We logged in and took/left nothing.We

I found it! 01 Jan 2003    Bullhead Cache  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 2 )

The wife and I started out in the rain today to do a cache or two and
then it changed to freezing rain. We decided to press on and we did find
2 caches.We only got within 50 ft. of the cache with the coords.but we
looked for about 10min. and found the cache. Mother nature had the
cache bonded to its keeper and we had quite a time getting it loose.We
logged in and returned the cache to it's hiding place. Thanks for the hide

The wife and I took the bike for a ride this afternoon and decided to do
this cache just to see what kind of visits this cache received yesterday
and by the looks of the log book it had plenty of visits and it sounded like
there was standing room only at times. It's nice to see that when
someone like road kill puts so much into this sport that it is respected and
everyone stands in line to say thanks.When one reads the logs of the
picnic it is clear the cachers are united. Thanks for the hide!!

Buzzard and I found this in the rain and we still enjoyed the walk in. As
others have said ,we to were surprised of the thought given to the hiding
of this cache. Thanks for the hide!

I found it! 14 Sept 2002    INSPIRATION POINT GEOCACHE  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

This is my second time to visit this area and this time I found the cache.I
had my little friend Buzzard with me and we came in from a different
direction than the one I used the first time.We saw a few deer and alot
of deer sign.We are also pretty sure we saw an eagle.We did a little
fishing after doing the cache thing but had no luck.It sure is a nice place
to kick back and watch everything that goes on around you.Thanks for
the hide Rocky,we enjoyed it.

Buzzard and I foound cache with no problems. Nice little walk in and we saw 1 rabbit on the way in.The log book only has 2 pages left in it. We left/took nothing.Thanks for the hide!

Title:ANOTHER GREAT HIDE BY ROCKY AND MRS ROCKY!!! Subject:Lakeside walk with a nice view. I saw this cache and I knew Harv would already have the car running and heading in that direction. I'm glad he was the first.HF John was 2nd,and that made the wife and I 3RD.,But I told the wife it is even good to be 3rd at one of Rocky's because he always chooses a great spot for a hide.We took the bike and went up one side of the lake,found the cache,then sat lakeside for a spell and watch the activity on the lake.What a nice day! then we headed around the lake and down the other side and just enjoyed the ride back home. 3rd find for today. Buzzard and I were in this area today and picked a copy of this caache up fron Erwin beaver pond cache and figured it was on our way out so we would do this one while we were so close. Had no problems finding cache. We logged in, left nothing and took nothing. Thanks for the hide!

I found it! 18 May 2002    Feel Us Shaking Like Nothing on Earth (retired)  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

Buzzard and I found cache with no problems.This was my second log in
the log book as I had visited this cache in it's last resting place.The hide
was very clever and I hope everyone returns the cache just the way
they found it.We took/left nothing.

First find of the day. Walked around it first and then realized it was just
about under my feet. Nice hide. A lot of people in the park on this

4th find of the day This was a little different and that was nice. It adds a
little spice to the hide. There was 6 or 8 people running around there
looking for some cattle that had gotten out of the pasture north of the
cache. When I left they had found 1 and had to shot it and there was
still 1 to be found. Thanks for the hide!

6th find for today and it is getting late. This was a nice hide and a little
different way of adding a challenge to the cache. I do a lot of icefishing
on this lake in the winter so I`ll have to bring my little friend Bryan to
visit this cache. Thanks for the hide.

I found it! 21 Apr 2002    Silver Lake Rail Road Trail  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

5th find of the day and a nice day to be caching.This cache was rather
hard to spot and the GPS said I Was on it but you have to look with
caution or you will over look it.It might be hard to visit this cache without
being noticed when people are walking the trail. Thanks for the hide!

2nd find of the day. The wife and I had never been on this road so we
found it very interesting. Found the cache without any problem and
logged in and made an exchange and moved onto the next cache. Thanks

I found it! 30 Mar 2002    Low & Behold (Read Warning)  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

My friend Bryan and I came to find this cache after finding shakers, but the
storm we were having had everything covered with snow and ice. The GPS had
us on the mark but everything wascovered so we gave up. My wife and I came
back and found it without any problems after the snow melted and the falls had
some nice rainbows that day. Thanks for the hide!

I found it! 30 Mar 2002    HOGS BACK VISTAS  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

3rd find of the day. Found the cache and logged in and modeled the
hat,made an exchange and moved on. There is so much to see in this
area it is hard to stay focused on caching. Ialso noticed a government
survey marker on the way out and took a picture of it. Thanks Rocky!

Note 10 Feb 2002    1856 Mule Path  ( Difficulty: 2.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

After finding Rattlesnake cache Bryan and I took gloria home and we
ventured on in the rain to find this one. We found it OK and called it a
day.We did`nt take time to do the senic thing. It was raining to hard!

My wife,my friend buzzard[Bryan]and I found this with no problems. It was a nice walk. We logged in and traded sunglasses for compass. Bryan is 12 and he had fun using the compass to go back to the truck. Thanks for the hide!

I remember this as being hard to find. I met Rockie the day I found this one,a nice guy, he gave me a new set of coordinates , that allowed me to make the find.Thanks!
