I found it! 01 Sept 2002    The Pirates Treasure  ( Difficulty: 4    Terrain: 4 )

Yo-Ho-Ho...No bottle of rum?? What's up with that? Started cache on 8/31, found all clues, but couldn't find the cache as we lost daylight. Picked up the hunt again on 9/1. How many ways could we try to get to the cache? If we would have taken the first path we found, we probably would have finished this in 1 1/2 hours....BUT...NO.... 4 hours to find the cache. However, WE DID IT!! Girls do rule. Did this with "R" of the Peppermill 6 Pack. Had a blast too! Took $2 bill, keychain compass and left flashlight with batteries and Minnie Mouse keychain. Thanks for letting us hunt for not-so-buried treasure.

Make sure you bring good flashlights and make sure the batteries are fresh, if they die, all we can say is Lotsa Luck! We will admit, if it weren't for caching, the venture would never have happened. I found it! 26 Aug 2002    The Gambler  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 1.5 )

We finished!! This was second try...the first try we found everything, but ran out of daylight, too dark to find the cache. It's always better late than never. First time, we darn near ran into a fox and he darn near ran into us. He feared us not, stayed out in the open and watched us do our thing. Logged book and had a kodak moment.

I found it! 21 Aug 2002    Goose Poop Trail  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 1.5 )

Found cache about 7:15pm. Make sure to bring your mosquito repellent as the closer to the cache you get, the thicker the mosquitos become. I swallowed one for dessert. They almost drove us away, however you can't get that close only to give up. Nice trail, we had to stop every so often to watch the planes taking off for the wild blue yonder. SueShe
