I found it! 07 May 2004    Nor Any Drop To Drink  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 2.5 )

Came over from Crawling Infestation, decided to look for the first couple of stops before nightfall. Found stop one without problems, but the statment about ignoring the decimals threw us a curve. We were on our way to leave to go home and do some pondering, when we noticed part of a different stop. from there, we did some more figuring, and it started making more sense. We ended up finding the final cache. Didn't even get wet, came real close though.
I never knew this park was here, we will come back to let the kids play.
Thanks for the hide.

I found it! 05 May 2004    Maple Grove Cache  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

My sons and I came out after supper and found this one. I am amazed how many parks there are in this area, that I had no idea were here. Thanks for showing me another one. I took one of the history cd's. So far it looks very interesting.

I found it! 04 May 2004    Rear View Mirror Cache  ( Difficulty: 4    Terrain: 4.5 )

Yahoo! Three trips into this gorge in 4 days, but I think I got them all (for now anyways). I spent over an hour looking for this one on Sunday, without finding it. After reading some of the other logs I decided to try again. I found it within 10 minutes this time. It was well hidden.
TNLN. Thanks for the mountain climbing lesson.

I found it! 02 May 2004    Three Celtic Crosses  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1 )

Fourth find of the day, and a good history lesson.
I have done some interesting reading since I started this cache. Thanks for the history lesson.

I found it! 02 May 2004    PEZ Cache  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 4.5 )

My second trip into the gorge in two days. I found this one without too much difficulty. A nice variety of Pez inside. Took nothing left nothing.
Thanks for the Hide.

I found it! 01 May 2004    The Great Genesee River Deer Run  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

Whew! Well I didn't find any ancient indian trail, because I didn't pay attention to the detail that said to go at it from downriver, I was thinking it said from the south. Well, I went straight down over the bank. Probably not the easiest route. When I got near, I realized that, the cache is on an island this time of the year. I managed to cross the water hazard and found the cache. I also startled a big ole beaver, or he startled me, I donno.
TNLN. Thanks for the hide.

I found it! 25 Apr 2004    Bullock's Woods  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 2.5 )

Well, this wasn't the best decision to go caching today. We saw a little bright spot in the clouds and decided to "Go for it". We got to within 200 ft, when the thunder and lightning started. I sent the rest of the gang back, and I ran for the cache. Luckily, I found it pretty easily, signed the log book with the date and our name only. I replaced the cache, and took off running toward the car, that was a half mile away. I'm to old for this running stuff.
Anyway, a nice hide. We plan on coming back (under different conditions), just to wander thru this park.

I found it! 24 Apr 2004    Henpecked  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

A nice day for a stroll on the canal.
I found both parts without too much trouble. I thought this was a 3 part, but I found the final cache at the second location. I was confused until I got back home to log it, and read the latest. (I had a prinout from a couple weeks ago). Took a keychain, and left a screwdriver tool.

I found it! 24 Apr 2004    Water for your soul  ( Difficulty: 3.5    Terrain: 1 )

I decided to do this after I finished Henpecked. I guess I'm getting my walking in today. I found the first 2 parts pretty easily, but I had some trouble finding the final. I got to the coordinates, but I didn't know what a decon container was, so I looked for a brief period, then I had to go, so I figured I would come back later.
I went back later with the rest of te HaleGang, and we found it without too much trouble.
We took a Sacajawea, and left a George.
Thanks for the hide.

I couldn 11 Apr 2004    Badge Adventure cache!  ( Difficulty: 2.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

We found "The Twist", and went to the cache location, but didn't find the cache. We (4 of us) scoured the area for over an hour. After arriving home, and looking at the picture, I'm positive that we were at the correct location. But no cache to be found. Based on Ourwoods entry also, I believe the owner might want to check on the cache. I am new to Navicache.com, but not to caching.

I found it! 11 Apr 2004    Country Wheels  ( Difficulty: 3.5    Terrain: 3 )

3rd find of this Easter morn. I parked at the coordinates, and then followed a trail into the woods. I found artifact #3 before #2, but I realized it, so I went on to #2, which led me back to #3. Found the final with no trouble. Took magic cards, and left 2 game CDs, and a dora toy. Thanks

I found it! 11 Apr 2004    Dad's Old Schoolhouse  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1 )

Happy Easter!
Went out this morning as a solo. Found this one with no trouble. Box was visible from bench. I hid it better when I was done. Took nothing, left nothing.

I found it! 10 Apr 2004    Lupin's Treasure  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 1.5 )

Our 2nd of the day, and 6th of the weekend. This is a nice out of-the-way park, once we got here. We had trouble finding it though (the park), we were on the wrong side of the bay.
We took miniture cards, and Mertle the Sea Turtle TB, and left a toy baseball game, a game CD, and Dad's Deere TB.
Nice cache

I found it! 09 Apr 2004    Winged Things  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 2 )

Our fourth find of the day. We found the first part very easy, but, due to a slight error, we ended up overshooting the final cache. As I wrote down the results from the first stage, I transposed a couple of numbers, and we went about a half mile past the cache. oops! Once I put the right coordinates in, we found it with no problem.
We took a loon dollar, and left a bird keychain, and a half man/half eagle toy. Took picture #20.
Thanks for the hide.

Note 09 Apr 2004    Noah's Ark  ( Difficulty: 3.5    Terrain: 2.5 )

Our third cache this morning. A nice 4 part multicache. since there is 4 members to our team, we each got to lead one leg of the cache, even my 6 yr old did it. We had trouble finding the third part, only because of not looking close enough when we got to the location.
We took nothing, and left a Kodak moment, #23.

I found it! 06 Apr 2004    Trey's Cache  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 1.5 )

With the change in daylight savings, we decided to try an after dinner cache. We found it, and found the barbed wire. Luckily we were on the lookout for it. We took Dad's Deere TB, and left a Game CD.
TB was not logged in there, But we will pass it on.

I found it! 04 Apr 2004    Huckleberry Island  ( Difficulty: 2.5    Terrain: 3 )

Alot of water surrounding this cache, but I made it.
Nice tree nearby.

I found it! 03 Apr 2004    Earth Day Celebration '02  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1 )

Nice view of the river. Found it with no problems.
Thanks for the hide.

I found it! 14 Mar 2004    Cranberry Cache  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

A tough cache to find. The trail was quite hard to follow at times. We tried to veer off the trail a few times, and ended up at some wet areas. A lot of zigzaging, but a nice area for nature, duckhouses, and geese flying overhead.
We took a toy game, and handwarmer, and left a jimmy neutron toy, a toy car, and a hat.

I found it! 07 Mar 2004    Watership Down  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1 )

Nice Theme to go with the story
