I found it! 09 Mar 2002    Brodies Box  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

Our third find today and also the third in the logbook for today. We took the direct approach and had to do a little more bushwacking than we expected as a result! Took keychain-whistle and left a wheresgeorge bill. Thanks, Mike and Bob

I found it! 09 Mar 2002    Issaquah In Irondeqoit  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

Another great day for geocaching. It was a nice walk along the bay, the uphill section of the trail was a bit muddy and slippery though. Made an entry in the logbook, took nothing - left nothing. Thanks, Mike and Bob

I found it! 24 Feb 2002    Ghost's Revenge!  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

Another great not-very-winterlike day in February, around 3pm. It took a little while to zero in on the area but then we stopped for a moment, looked down and voila... Took a Wheresgeorge bill and left a funky tape measure. Great fun, thanks!

I found it! 24 Feb 2002    Gimpys Walk  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

Another great Spring day in February. Glad we had hiking boots, real mucky getting to the cache area. This one took a little time, tried the high road and the low road and had to go back where we started again. It looks like there is a butt trail in the fallen leaves where someone may have tried the approach from above! The terrain might be just a bit more than a 2! We took a wheresgeorge bill and left a magnifying glass. Thanks for the fun (and the workout) :) Mike and Bob

I found it! 24 Feb 2002    Seneca Trails  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

We have enjoyed walking the bridge many times so yeah, we cut right to the chase. Pretty easy find, it really is a neat hiding place though since it is right there but not glaringly obvious. There are a lot of people wandering around, so it is difficult to be discreet. The cache has lots of little toys and stuff, we signed a paper scrap and put it back in its place - Time for a real logbook...(or a stapler)! Haven't really wandered in that particular area of the park, so we will definitely have to come back, thanks for pointing it out and a fun cache!

I found it! 27 Jan 2002    Genesee River Cache  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 2 )

This was our first cache, we zeroed right in on the trunk of the tree with the GPS, but it was not immediately apparent where the box was. it was a great day for looking, it was warm and sunny which is unusual for the end of January.
We had a great time and look forward to finding more.
Thanks!
Mike and Bob.
