I couldn 20 Apr 2002    East Lawn  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

A couple of others struck out ahead of us apparently, so we're also logging a No Find. Gone?

I found it! 20 Apr 2002    Men In Black  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 1.5 )

This was the best one we did today, found at 1:15 p.m. A funky sight we've all seen from another view (whizzing past). We took a frog paperclip and left a grey rat and The 19th's Foam Globe #2 so it can continue its travels around the world. Thanks again.

I found it! 30 Mar 2002    yellow jeep fever  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

Much to our disgust, the yellow Jeep disease has spread to El Dorado Hills, California. We actually spotted this one while geocaching! We had to be stealthy to get the photo since the owner appeared to be working in his front yard. We didn't want the yellow Jeep to contaminate our blue one, so we snapped the shot, got the coords (N38 40.782 W 121 00.736) and sped off to alert everyone of our siting.

I found it! 02 Feb 2002    Fish in the City  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

The last of four for the day. Two neat areas tucked away in well-known parks in Sacramento. Thanks for the effort on this one, especially the first clue, which we walked past about 10 times before we got it!

I found it! 02 Feb 2002    Indo-Cache  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

We even got lucky on the parking for this one! We'd already had Dim Sum earlier, but Red Rover may try this spot over lunch sometime. We got a blank stare from the first helper, but then another helper gave us the cache. Really cool! We logged it at 1:45 p.m. and took nothing but a photo and left nothing. We then went on our way over to Evangeline's to buy some cool cache items. Thanks!

I found it! 18 Nov 2001    JeoCaching - II (King of the Hill)  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

The two of us and Brandie, the dog, were REALLY on the wrong side of the tracks at first. Let's just say 2/3 of our group ended up a bit muddy So we reoriented ourselves and then found the easy way in and in turn met Iron Chef and Don from Monterey. Two trains went whizzing past while we were in the area. BE CAREFUL! Found cache handily at 11:12 a.m. We took the sun rubber stamp and left mini playing cards. Thanks!

I found it! 18 Nov 2001    JeoCaching - I (Thistle while you search)  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

Our third of nine for the day. Not too hard to find this one since Iron Chef and Don were already there when we walked up. Arrived at 11:25 a.m. and were invited to replace the cache to slightly drier ground since we were already muddy from our earlier search for this cache (which was obviously fruitless from the direction we originally tried to take). Once winter rains really set in, you may need waders for this one. We took/left nothing. BE CAREFUL here! We saw two trains go past. We are taking Scully for a ride. Who knows what sort of mysterious place she'll end up visiting!

I found it! 18 Nov 2001    Elk Grove  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

This was #8 of 9 for the day and we did this one right after the geocachers picnic. We couldn't resist! We don't get down this way very often. A neat hiding spot in what probably used to be a place out in the country. Found this one at 4:15 p.m. and we took nothing, but left some small snakes. Thanks for showing us a little history!
