I found it! 02 Sept 2001    Blair Witch  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

The place is spooked!! Three things happened which I am at a loss to explain. 1) When I got to the site it was cloudy but not raining, then as soon as I opened the cache the rain started falling. And yes, you can guess. As soon as I closed up the box, it stopped. 2) Had the urge to drive South away from home when I returned to the car, and guess who lives 1/2 mi. South of the cache? The Adams Family is there on the right hand side of the road! 3) Had the urge to visit a graveyard and place a cache there - so by the time you read this or shortly afterwards, you will see The Resting Place at Bristol. Spooky, ah? Be on your guard when visiting this cache. jpfjmj@earthlink. net John

I found it! 02 Sept 2001    Egyptian Hike  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

Found 8/29/01 Haven't been on a geocaching hike in a month with vacations out of town and the hot weather. And now that I went to this site, it sure gave me the warm feeling I had when I found my first cache in the Spring. Thank Gimpy for that feeling. Enjoyed the view from the bicycle trail and especially the swamps. Found a traveler in the cache. Puff is heading East, while his competition is heading West. Will be placing Puff in a location, at least a bit further East in the next few days. Good Hunting to All. John from Honeoye Falls.

I found it! 30 Jul 2001    Highpoint  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

Brother Larry and I decided that it was a nice cool day for a day in the woods. Love this little park, especially the lookout over Honeoye Lake. We headed into the woods and got into the area of the cache, but the sats were not in good position and couldn't get anything better than 50 feet when another direction showed up, so we started out perimeter search. Must have walked by the cache six times before we saw it. It was well hidden with it's gray coloring blending in very well on the forest floor. Left a current National Geographic Magazine and took CD-ROM. Thanks for the hide and good hunting. jpfjmj@earthlink.net John

I found it! 29 Jul 2001    No Exit  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

Should have checked the "hint" since I started walking in from the park parking lot. Stopped at "Morgans Adventure", one that I did during the month of May (I think) on the way to "No Exit". No problem finding it, but a longer walk than expected. Left a Pope Paul Bottle Opener and took a dollar. Good Hunting to all.

I found it! 16 Jul 2001    It's as easy as ABC  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

Was nice to return to Greece Canal Park after my Family Feud adventure. Yes, it was an easy one, but then again those can be fun too. Sure do like the nice clean woods in the park. Good Hunting to all. John

I found it! 14 Jul 2001    MOTHER OF ROCKY  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

My brother and sister-in-law joined me on this adventure. We let Diane find this on her own, since it was her first time out searching. Nice clear and clean woods made it quite pleasant. Got lost on the way out though, since we went South along the road (dirt/stone road), instead of returning North. The road is quite rocky in places and folks might want to consider parking at the main road and walking in. Thanks for the hide. John
