I found it! 26 Mar 2006    Home Sweet Home  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1 )

Took Brother, 2yr old Michael, and 9 month pregnant wife on this one (Due on Tuesday). What a very interesting grave yard. Spent over an hour searching until I realized the wrong coordinates where in the GPS. Brothers first time using his GPS and I lent mine out. Once back on track we found in no time close to where we parked.

I couldn 18 Mar 2006    Red Falls View  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 3 )

Very nice area for a cache. Enjoyed the view and 'falls'. Parked at an alternate area which may have been closer to the cache, but is not recomended. The terrain was a little difficult and I was probably trespassing. Got within feet of the cache but quit due to the terrain in the area and having only my 2 year old son with me. He did have a great time at the park near where I parked. I wil be back, and will succeed.

I found it! 16 Mar 2006    Trey's Cache  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 1.5 )

Gaktheknife and I went after this cache on our lunch break. Decent afternoon for stroll, but was a little muddy. Didn't help that we where in our dress clothes and shoes. Found cache after a little bushwaking, TNLN. Thanks for the cache Trey.

I couldn 13 Mar 2006    Friday Night at the Movies  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 1.5 )

Was helping Nomad on this one with mom and little Michael. Searched high and low, front and back. A lot of decent places to stash the cache, but found nothing. We ended up getting rained out.

I found it! 06 Mar 2006    Hale's Comet  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 2 )

Took a couple newbies on this one. Good one to start them out on. No trouble locating the stash. Took and left nothing.

I found it! 06 Mar 2006    The Old Farm  ( Difficulty: 2.5    Terrain: 3 )

Nice cache area, good hiding spot. Great to be back in the game.

I found it! 24 Feb 2006    qui est cache`?  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1 )

1st cache in a couple of years. Nice easy one to break myself back in. Now that my son is 2 you will be seeing alot more of us around. Brought a newbie to show him the ropes, both had a great time.

I couldn 24 Feb 2006    Blackjack Barge Cache  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 3 )

After returning from not being able to locate this one and seeing the picture of where it is stashed, it is definitly no longer there. We could find no better place to hide the cache than where it should have been. Had fun messing around on the barges for the first time since I was in High School. (Long time ago)

I found it! 18 May 2003    Escape  ( Difficulty: 2.5    Terrain: 2 )

Great day to get back into the sport. Have been in a Navicache slump since winter started. Great day for a long hike, and as alway's, we prevailed and located the stash. Many people along the route including one that was at the final location, but knew nothing about the sport. Had a great time. Nomad was absent, but was there in heart. We will be full force this Spring. Beware of the "Navinauts."
Bring on the hard cache's like Two Rivers by Selterloom.

Note 21 Apr 2002    The Troll's Treasure  ( Difficulty: 2.5    Terrain: 4.5 )

Went yesterday w/a few friends. No luck. We looked like a bunch of monkey's. Gonna try again today w/the almighty Nomad, maybe a little of his wisdom will prevail.

I couldn 21 Apr 2002    The Troll's Treasure  ( Difficulty: 2.5    Terrain: 4.5 )

Went at her again today with Nomad and a couple of clues from Quinn and Caron. They just confused us even more. Sure wish we would have gotten the exact location of the cache cause I doubt there will be a 3rd attempt. Was hoping to to bump into a few other cachers for some possible assistance.

I found it! 15 Apr 2002    sir rotten ronnie cache  ( Difficulty: 3.5    Terrain: 4.5 )

Was caching w/Nomad yesterday. This was just a hair more difficult to find than the last one, but still not all that bad. The rain didn't help much, but it didn't slow us down none. Gotta little wet but had a great time. Little familular with this area so I knew the easier way. Not a bad selection of prizes but we took and left nothing.

I found it! 15 Apr 2002    the erie cache  ( Difficulty: 3.5    Terrain: 3.5 )

As Nomad stated, himself, my bro, and I found this one in the pouring rain. Piece of cake. Had to be extra careful not to disclose area to a few 4-wheelers tearing around, but they didnt seem interested. Just exchanged one WG bill. Very nice area for a cache, was actually an area where we have done alot of 4-wheeling ourselves in the past and was a potential spot to place my own cache at some point.

I found it! 15 Apr 2002    Westward Ho (The Imposter wants to go)  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

Just wanted to make a little note. I have made 2 attempts at just "Part One" of this cache. Both were over a month or so ago and although they where both failures, they where the best times we have had since starting caching. On attempt one, me and Petey went on the day that we had about 50-60 mph winds, and the peir was half covered in ice. The waves where actually crashing so hard into the side that they where splashing onto the other side. Caught all on video, we made it 3 quarters of the way to find out we where on the wrong one. By the time we turned around, the camera, and just about everything exposed, where cover in solid ice. We where too busy worring about the waves, that we never payed attention to where we had to go. Stay tuned for past attempt 2 and future attempt 3.

I found it! 07 Apr 2002    Valley Of The Inukshuk  ( Difficulty: 4.5    Terrain: 4.5 )

Me, my bro and a few new and old cachers went all out after this one. We always enjoy a challenge. Think we went down and up about the hardest way possible. Had a few chills on the way back up, but all in all it wasn't too bad. Also climbed around like a monkey for awhile before finally discovering cache, my bro took a statue to add to his dollar store collection, we left some waterproof matches and a hand warmer. Also exchanged one WG bill.

I found it! 07 Apr 2002    Rear View Mirror Cache  ( Difficulty: 4    Terrain: 4.5 )

Revisited this one with a few new cachers, never got to log in when we bumped in Caron and Quinn back on March 9th. We were already in the area. Took and left nothing. Nice short walk but not as easy as it looks.

I found it! 06 Apr 2002    Tinker Toy Cache  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 1.5 )

Went with Nomad, my bro and petey on this one, very nice litle walk, beautiful area, little cold today though. Had to take a little time off from cacheing to move into a new apartment, but we are back in the game and ready for some competition. As Nomad already stated, we took nothing and left some WG bills.

I found it! 17 Mar 2002    Lower Falls And The Old Glen House cache  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

Introduced 2 more friends to navicaching with this one. Was a little trickey due to mud but not too bad. Cant say it was good weather, plus I have a cold. Few nice sites to see, saw a couple fisherman and a very interesting individual, not a cacher but was proof that this is not a cache to locate under the influence, (or without a belt). Took statue and 2 wheres george bills, left 2 and the almighty fart man. Took in a few sites and had to help our new intoxicated friend back out of there.

I found it! 17 Mar 2002    Avon Calling Cache  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 1.5 )

Brought some new cachers with us today. Little chilly, but we had a good time. We where not really dressed for the walk, kind of a last minute decision. This cache was right out in the open. Took and left one wg bill, took waterproof matches and left a multi-use screwdriver. Hid cache very well in same spot so keep your eyes open.

I found it! 09 Mar 2002    Cracker-Barrel Keepsake  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

3rd of the day, this was a nice senic route. Me and my brothers where a little tired after the first two, Beautiful day but a little slippery, hard to belive its March. Took statue (my brother "Duke" is working up a collection) left 2 where's george, old where's george stamp, (Thanks Quinn) and metal calculator.

I found it! 09 Mar 2002    PEZ Cache  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 4.5 )

Me and my bro's headed out for this one this afternoon, made the mistake of "being on the wrong side." Tied us up long enough to bump into the "Legendary Cacher's" Quinn and Caron. While they zeroed in on the Rear View Mirror cache we moved onto this one, nice placement. Had to take a pezz. Left 2 where's george, and a chem lite. Great to finally put some faces to these names and to meet some good people. Learned alot about caching and had a great time. Also bumped into a new name, "Lowerfalls." Look forward to bumping into more cachers come spring time.

I found it! 05 Mar 2002    Two Rivers  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 4.5 )

Definitly went the wrong way on this one. Got within 150 feet from cache and couldnt go any farther. Had to backtrack the whole way. Went all the way around, "To the bottem." Finally located cache. Was in bad shape, "all" the contents where frozen, log book was water logged (no other entries) Took Binoculars (dont think they work) and left 2 chem lites. Recomend this one for Hardcore cachers only!! Very nice senic overlooks though. Thanks for the very challenging, risk taking adventure. Like to see more difficult ones like this.

I found it! 02 Mar 2002    Cacher's Cache Can  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

Found this one no prob, beautiful day, great trail's. Perfect family cache. Disapointed there where no WG dollars, left a couple to get the trend started.

I found it! 02 Mar 2002    Mendon Ponds Cache  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

Found this one this afternoon, 2nd in same park. Will definitly be revisiting this park in the spring time, nice trails and ponds. Beautiful weather, lots of people. Took possible wheres george dollar, not registered, left one.

I found it! 02 Mar 2002    Mendon Ponds #2  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

3rd and final one on this beautiful "March" day. Can you believe it. This one was a little tougher, but we definitly went the wrong way. No problem, sometimes senic routes are more fun. Disappointed there where no WG bills, left one. Great park, will be back, mabey to leave my own.

I found it! 24 Feb 2002    Discombobulated Universe (retired)  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 1.5 )

Got up really early to find this one! Took awhile to find. It was a little chilly. The park was nice. Probably won't have to walk as far in the spring.

I found it! 24 Feb 2002    Scottsville Multi Fun Cache  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 1.5 )

This one was fun. Got muddy. It was a beautiful day for navicaching!! Took a where's george dollar and left a "make your own crossword" computer game. This was our fourth one today and it was a nice one to end the evening!

I found it! 24 Feb 2002    Dudes on the loose!  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 1.5 )

yeah!! we were the first ones to find this!! this was our fifth one today. we went at night, it was a little dark. clue's led us right to it. we took the blue m & m dude and a where's george dollar. we left a where's george and a chem lite.
