CACHE LOGS - May contain hints(spoilers)!   decode

Note 08 Nov 2007    McNamara's Labor Day Weekend Cache  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 1 )

Please check the coordinates of this cache's latitude. N 47 87.583' ??? That "87" should be a number from 00 to 59.

Note 14 Dec 2004    'A' Is For Alum  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

I'm going to temporarily disable this cache until I get a chance to replace the box of goodies.

I found it! 21 Feb 2002    Gung Hay Fat Choy  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 1.5 )

What a beautiful park! After a bit of head scratching on one of the clues, we were able to figure out the date we needed to get to the next stage. After that, it was clear sailing to the cache location itself. The cache container is hidden well and blends into the environment. Very nicely done. I really enjoyed wandering through this park; there's lots to see. I didn't have my camera with me today, but plan on returning sometime next week and snapping a picture or two that I'll upload here. I took a pendant (o/~ tragedy tomorrow, comedy tonight o/~ perhaps?) and left a sealed tin of Cinnamon Altoids. Everything still fits in the cache, but it's a close thing. Thanks for the fun cache!

I found it! 21 Feb 2002    Coyote Creek Pigeonhole  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 2.5 )

Very nicely hidden cache! We took more than one wrong turn on the way to this cache, but did manage to get there a few minutes after sunset. I won't give away any hints, but I will say that although our shoes got muddy, they didn't get wet. Took a red envelope with a dollar coin inside and left a sealed tin of Cinnamon Altoids. Great cache, we enjoyed the adventure!

I found it! 17 Feb 2002    Percolation & Penitence  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

This wasn't a very long hike, but the cache itself was well-hidden in an interesting spot. Took the soccer ball hacky sack and left a sealed tin of Cinnamon Altoids. Thanks for the fun cache!

I found it! 13 Jan 2002    No eGrets  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

Nice spot for a cache! It was a very peaceful Sunday morning when I reached the cache site. It's very easy to (somehow) forget you're only a few tens of feet away from a freeway. Spotted one egret, a tern, and a whole mess of ducks. I left a sealed tin of Cinnamon Altoids and took a Lottery ticket. (Not a winner. Guess I'll have to keep my day job.) Thanks for the adventure!

I found it! 22 Aug 2001    Distance Caching 101  ( Difficulty: 4.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

Well this was certainly a different type of geocaching! Since I live in California, I had to hunt this cache online and spent more time with various search engines than with a GPS. It was a very fun "hunt" though and thanks to Scout for the unique cache. Next time I'm in the DFW area, I'll have to look up some of the waypoints I only virtually visited this evening.

I found it! 12 Aug 2001    Atlantic City  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

Nice cache! We grumbled all the way to the top of this hill as we scrambled up the loose rock, but WOW the climb was worth it. I'm glad we didn't have to climb in sandles like one of the previous visitors mentioned in their log. We left a sealed tin of Cinnamon Altoids, a blue superball (that looks like a #2 pool ball) and a green ring. In exchange we took a calculator and a pair of sunglasses. Thanks for the great cache, we really enjoyed the adventure. Also, I recommend visiting the nearby town of South Pass if you get the chance, we discovered that spot on the way here and I'm glad we did! Thanks again Bearguy!

I found it! 10 Jul 2001    Guadalupe Oak View  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

Found March 25, 2001:

What a nice little park, I had no idea this was here. Once I got to the right location it did take me a few minutes to actually find the cache, it was hidden very well. I left a tin of Cinnamon Altoids and took a hazard card. This cache is small and it is completely packed with goodies (it was difficult to close it) so bring small items for this cache! Thanks for placing this cache in such a pretty spot -- it was a lot of fun to find it.

I found it! 10 Jul 2001    Em-Sam Cache  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

Found April 14 2001:

As with the nearby HJBTJ cache, I found this one about an hour after Frank did. It's hidden very well and took me about ten to fifteen minutes to find, probably due to the fact that my GPS stubbornly kept leading me to a spindly little pine tree 40 feet north of the cache's true location. After all that searching, it was great fun to actually find the cache though! =) I took the BOO HOO Silly Slammer ("Now you see me!, Now you don't!") and left a pinball game I found in the ALGOR the alien cache last weekend. Thanks to Emily and Samantha for the great geocache adventure I had today!

I found it! 10 Jul 2001    Like a Virgin  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

Found June 30 2001:
Like a virgin, this cache was hard to find, but well worth the effort. Tree cover made the GPS signal spotty at best so I spent quite a while bushwacking (*ahem*) before finally locating it. The cache seemed to be located, according to my GPS anyway, 75 feet due east of where I had been searching; so if you have trouble finding it try W 121 42.209 instead of the coordinates given above. I took the Golden Snitch keychain and left my trademark: a sealed tin of Cinnamon Altoids. Thanks for the great cache hunt; there are certainly some interesting things to see in the area!
