I found it! 03 Apr 2005    Halls' Kitchen  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1 )

Found on a breezy but comfortable day. Hated to leave my walk on the beach to hunt this one down. But it was satisfying to visit this historic cache.

My coordinates were between the coordinates listed here and on gc.com. I had N27 35.307 and W097 13.189

Note 08 Feb 2005    The Run for the Sausages  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

The starting point for this multi-cache has disappeared. I'm afraid it's time to archive it.

Note 01 Jan 2005    Gulfport  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1 )

Perhaps the tide put the rock in question under water at the time of your visit. In any case, I shouldn't make anyone hunt that hard for a barnacle-encrusted rock. Call it a find.

Note 19 Oct 2004    Talimena  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

That's horrible. I just learned an important lesson. When I hide caches, I need to avoid areas that might attract that kind of behavior. Either hide it way, way out of the way, or hide it in plain site in a public area. Don't hide it just out of sight near a public area. Eeewwwwww!

Note 11 Aug 2004    Secret of Connemara  ( Difficulty: 4.5    Terrain: 2.5 )

Sorry about that. I've been doing some maintenance on my Web site. I think you must have hit just when it was in a bad state. Please try again and tell me if the problem persists.

Note 11 Feb 2004    Big Cash Cache  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

Time to archive this one. The high water probably carried this one away.

Note 01 Jul 2003    Gulfport  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1 )

It isn't just anywhere on the gulf coast. It isn't even just anywhere in Gulfport. It's right at N 30 21.590' W 089 05.240'. That pretty much pinpoints it. It's out in the open, not covered with sticks and leaves or mud or sand. I even gave you a photo of what you're looking for. How many physical caches are this easy? That's why it's rated easy/easy.

Note 25 Apr 2003    Secret of Connemara  ( Difficulty: 4.5    Terrain: 2.5 )

I have had to change the second clue and its answer because Connemara made some changes at the entrance to the meadow. Everything else remains the same.

Note 25 Jan 2003    Two Fathoms  ( Difficulty: 5    Terrain: 2.5 )

Due to unforeseen problems with cache coordinates, winter weather and bulldozers (don't ask), I have had to rework this cache. The first and last stages are still where they originally were, but the second stage is not. This will require you to start over if you have not found the final cache yet. My apologies to anyone who started this cache before today.

Note 17 Mar 2002    Branson  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

Under water? Quite possible. I had no way of knowing how much the water level varies from season to season or year to year. When placed, the photo cache was right above water level. If it stays underwater, I guess I'll have to just up the difficulty level. Either that, or hunters will have to wait for the next drought. ;-)

Note 29 Nov 2001    Mud Lake  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

I have hiked the roads and trails in this area for decades and have never encountered a pissed off landowner. But it *is* someone else's private property, so be respectful.

Note 26 Aug 2001    Distance Caching 101  ( Difficulty: 4.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

pkdstarsfan, send me an email at gc_scout@hotmail.com. Either the school changed the sign in the last week (unlikely) or you are looking in the wrong place.
