CACHE LOGS - May contain hints(spoilers)!   decode

I found it! 01 Apr 2009    Englemere Pond  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1 )

Thanks again to Robin for updating the cache (and the Coords)
On my trip to the cache did not see or hear another soul.
Standing at GZ using the original co-ords, there were a multitude of possible hidey holes the cache could have been in a very small radius. However the revised co-ords gave me a push in the right direction and cut down the number of possible hiding places considerably.
After a little searching the cache was found.
Nice to see the printouts from the original logbook in the new logbook.
Left a Glowstick.
Thanks again for bringing me to another area I did not know about (although have passed by on several occasions)

I found it! 25 Mar 2009    Magna Carta  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 1 )

Noticed that Robin had replaced this cache recently, and decided to brave the blustery showers and take a walk in the woods.
Parked at the Air Force Memorial and entered the woods. Although damp, much drier than my previous visit in December when the whole area was sodden.
Followed the GPS and as the coords were spot on, soon had the cache in hand.
Was expecting GZ to be a bit "woodier" as I had got it into my head that GZ was lot closer to some other caches in the area that I had done (should have looked at the map before leaving the house !!)
Anyway anaother cache to Robins high standards and a FTF.
Left a Glowstick
Thanks again for the cache

I found it! 24 Feb 2009    Windsor Great Park  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 1 )

After seeing that Robin had checked the cache recently and placed a few more clue tickets, I decided to give this a bash.
Not much of a view today, but the castle looked imposing in the gloom.
Agree that the GPS readings are a bit off but managed to find one of the new clue tickets. (Had alook for the other oine as well but must be well hidden).
A quick trot to the cache and a quick find.
Everything ship shape, and another excellent cache from Robin.
Left Glo Stick and will move Captain Scarlett onwards

I found it! 24 Feb 2009    Cranbourne  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

This has been on my to do list for some time, and so with no livestock in the field, I gave it a go.
Thought the ground would have dried out by now, but was very wrong. Quite a lot of liquid mud about on the way to the cache as well as some ancient pollards.
A quick find (it is an ammo case after all!!)

I found it! 19 Dec 2008    Virginia Water  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 1 )

Had found a clue ticket (the furthest away one I think )for this one a few weeks ago whilst doing another series around Virginia Water, but could not get close to GZ due to a tree felling work going on at the time.
Was in the area again today and decided to try again. A nice straight forward find with cache in excellent condition. Still can't quite believe I was FTF

I found it! 03 Nov 2008    Windsor Castle  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

Found whilst on my way from Eton. Nicely hidden although look out for cyclists who arrive without warning.
Thnks for the replacement cache.

I found it! 24 Oct 2008    Valley Gardens  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

Had a look for this whilst cycling around Virginia Water doing another cache series.
Found the "slippery when wet" bit, but it looks like the cache has been dislodged from its hidey hole at some point, and rolled into the ditch.
When retreived from ditch it looked (and smelled) like its been in the water for good few weeks (months?) as the container was full up with black water.
Emptied it all out and tried drying everthing out in the sunshine.
Unfortunately the log book was a goner (solid slimey mass),
probably the camera as well.
Tucked the cache further up into its hiding place and jammed in using some dead branches to make it more secure
Hope this is of some use.

I found it! 24 Oct 2008    Centennial Totem Pole  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 2 )

Didn't know these caches were also here as well as the other site. Anyway found on 24/10/08, and logged as follows

"Finally found on my third attempt !
I was beginning to think I'd have to borrow Tomas's Granny in order to find this after searching area for long periods on two occasions.
Parked up bike in a differnt position to previous two visits, turned around and saw cache straight away.
Suspect that I had parked up bike on top of cache position on previous visits, hence the DNF before. Doh!!
Also the projected waypoint for the cache was nearer 300ft than 325ft according to my GPS, if this helps anyone in the future.
Anyway, nice to see an ammo box for a change, especially in such a busy place

I couldn 06 Oct 2008    Windsor Castle  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

I also think this is gone for good..
I had a look for this today on my way down to the Thames, beat my way through the nettles and had a good look around GZ.
The only things found were the laminated geocache welcome card half buried in some ivy, and a semi buried Tupperware type lid. Given that the card was out in the open , I think this has gone

I found it! 30 Sept 2008    Black Park  ( Difficulty: 4    Terrain: 1.5 )

Tried this out between showers today.Parked in layby in main road to avoid car park charges. First stage needed clue as gps kept pointing me towards a large fallen tree. After that an enjoyable walk through the Black Park spotting the mountjac deer etc. Second clue still in place, which led me on to the final cache. Unfortunately the final cache was full of water with the logbook and goodies soaked as the box is of a non sealed type. Emptied out and dried cache as much as possible and placed back in position, trying to shelter it as much as possible.
Overall a very enjoyable cache, and as others have said very similar to Black Park Bamboozle (no bad thing)
Thanks again

I found it! 08 Sept 2008    The Copper Horse  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1 )

Went searching for this whilst doing another series from the other website. A cache this size makes quite a difference from the usual micros. Found cachebox was slightly damaged on corner and contents were quite damp (especially the log book)
Tried to dry out as best I could, and tried to shelter cache as much as pssible when I replaced it
Took nothing
Left glo stick
Thanks for the cache

I found it! 16 Jun 2008    Transit of Mars  ( Difficulty: 4    Terrain: 2.5 )

Didn't know these caches were also here as well as the other site. Anyway found on 16/06/08, and logged as follows

"Used this to christen my new GPS. Had already got first part of cache and worked out roughly where I needed to be. Co-ordinates spot on. Signed log TFTC
