A most excellent cache thank you enjoyed the firs bit even though I had ti phone the owner as I had to confirm some info that had come off, then it was off to find the cache found after a small search. The cache is wet inside so emptied out water and log book was looking a little sorry for its self. Thanks Robin for yet another great cache. :)

I couldn 21 Apr 2009    Robin's Thicket  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1 )

Went to have another look even though I had looked with Sandvika back in Dec 08. Think this might have gone AWOL.

I found it! 16 Apr 2009    Windlesham  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 1 )

Went back for a second visit after being there with Sandvika back in Dec 08 this time layed my hands straight on it. I emptied the box of water log book was a little damp, nice size box. TFTC

I found it! 16 Apr 2009    Valley Gardens  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

Found with no problems cache in good condition think the bag helps, it tried to rain whilst going to and from the cache area. I parked up near Blacknest gate. TFTC

I found it! 16 Apr 2009    Windsor Castle  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

I found it! 16 Apr 2009    California in England  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 1 )

A most excellent cache and setting I parked up about .5mile on a housing estate near to wear I used to lodge with a friend, I made my way quite quickly to the first part and found very quickly then it was onto the next part which was found after having to wait for some muggles to go past. I found the cache without doing a Sandvika and falling into mud galore (smelly). The cache box was had some water in it so I emptied it out also took out some soap and two very small cans of drinks as well I informed the owner over the phone. Thanks for a great little walk and then finding a huge box. TFTC

I found it! 08 Apr 2009    Richmond Hill  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 1 )

A very nice quick find on a very sunny afternoon, it was nice not having to wear a coat. TFTC

I found it! 08 Apr 2009    Richmond Park  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 1 )

I found the tree but not cache to start with as I thought it was going to be a straight forward cache & not a multi I then rang a friend to have a look and he then txt me a fellow cachers number. I also had to ring the owner as I had no idea at what I was looking at. A very big thank you Robin for your help I found the cache quickly after that. TFTC

I found it! 07 Apr 2009    Hampton Court  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1 )

I went and some caches with Sandvika and his boys but we ended up on the wrong side of the long water and so we had to walk through Hampton Court gardens to get to a some stairs leading to the park near the river. The gate to get in can be found N51.23.867 W000.20.017 then it was an easy stroll avoiding the golf balls. This was by far the longest time in trying to find a cache but the surroundings made up for it, this only took us 1hrs or so to get to. When we found the cache it looks like someone has found it by accident and replaced it. TFTC

I found it! 07 Apr 2009    Bushy Park  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1 )

A Joint FTF
Found as part of "The Lost Cachers" crewe from Thursday Night/Friday morning.

I got asked to join up for an evening caching of which I said how can I refuse but did not know it was going to take so long, and walk miles, I met them at one of the cords after some how having to get through two fences commando style. The team was Westie Walker, Woking Wanders, dno1968, figures & Rebus34. Thanks sandvika for a most excellent cache pleased I did not do this one on my own cause I would have most definitively gone completely mad and the white coats my needed to be called!!

I found it! 10 Jun 2008    Venus' left nipple  ( Difficulty: 4    Terrain: 1.5 )

A huge thanks to Sandvika on this cache as it was his I managed to get my very First to Find in an urban setting and on Navicache , I was even more pleased that I had found Venus left Nipple for her now she can stop panicking. I was very surprised that I got FTF as there are other more local cachers that might have got to it already has it been published for a few hours, so I managed to sneak under their noses.

I gave Steamhammer a call to see if fancied coming caching on a possible FTF.

We made sure our torches working, as its very dark in the park & we had mist sunset over the Totem Pole. When we arrived we set our GPS’s to aim in on the cache.

The search was not so easy in the dark & it started to rain but I came across it on the second search of the area Steamhammer Picked up 2 Geocoins, we drop anything in nothing as I was not sure whether we would find it but this was a good time to go caching as there were no muggles around.

I found it! 11 Nov 2007    Easy Dinton  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1 )

After Sandvika had spotted it he went back to the car for another proding stick, so whiklst he was away I decided to have alot of determination for bushwhacking, the suspicious black thing poked deep - and I mean DEEP - in the bramble patch would have remained there. However I gradually cleaved a way through the brambles to allow retrieval with a walking pole.

Sandvika took photos, attempted to replace cache where it had been, failed, pushed it back as deeply as we could manage and undid the bushwhacking as well as we could manage. OK, it's obvious now there's been visitors, but only a glutton for punishment (read Geocacher) would repeat this exercise!

I found it! 16 Sept 2007    Armitage Court  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

Superbly easy find with Sandvika, We had brought with us a fully used camera from another of Robin's caches as the most modest of pretexts to ring the door bell & had a coffee.

The real pleasure was of course to meet Robin with his spontaneous hospitality to invite us in. There followed a most interesting discussion on the way in which geocaching has developed and also of course.
