You got a First To Find (FTF).

Way to go!!!!!!!!

I found it! 26 Sept 2005    Lizard Cache  ( Difficulty: 1.5    Terrain: 2 )

With nonlinear-kelsey. Great hide!

I found it! 09 Feb 2005    Square Peg  ( Difficulty: 2.5    Terrain: 2.5 )

dup of GCMPJB.

I couldn 06 Sept 2004    Child's Play  ( Difficulty: 3.5    Terrain: 4.5 )

FTDNF. With dyl1231. We had a really nice walk to the 1st stage, but alas we didn't find it.

Well, actually, we think we *may* have found it. Just that there is no way either of us are going to get it. We tried a few tactics to see if we could discern whether the object was the stage we sought. But as we attempted that, a bajillion bees came flying out of the tree we were at, and that put an end to any further attempts. At least until there is snow on the ground.

Dyl1231 was in rare form today, and decided to hike/run the ridge trails in the woods back to the car, rather than the limestone trail.

I couldn 22 May 2004    Gilligan's Island  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 4 )

Three, three, three DNF's in one!

First skunk was by myself. While dyl1231 and Socko were searching for S4xtons temporary, I waded/walked over to this island by myself to find SB's cache. My mojo said this is just the type of hide that Bob's evil mind would come up with. Regardless that my intuition was correct, I could not locate the cache.

Second skunk was with dyl1231 and Socko (from milwaukee). We spent 30 minutes not finding this one. Found a similar brown pill bottle nearby, and I left a "this is not the cache" note in that bottle. Consider it the on-site DNF log now.

Third skunk was with dyl1231 and we even had a hint. But we still couldn't find it.

Note 06 Apr 2004    Spring Lake Park  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 2.5 )

Log entry was deleted.

I found it! 03 Apr 2004    At the Posted Coordinates  ( Difficulty: 3.5    Terrain: 1 )

Dyl1231 was in a caching kind of mood today, so we came out with nonlinear-kelsey to find some caches on "the other side". This was the first one we went for, and a nice hide at that.

TNLN, TFTC.

I found it! 25 Jan 2004    Woody's  ( Difficulty: 2.5    Terrain: 1.5 )

With nonlinear-kelsey. Took a trail map, but it turned out I didn't need it. TNLN, TFTC.

I found it! 17 Jan 2004    yogurt1  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 4 )

With nonlinear-kelsey. I parked very close to the cache, and it would have been an easy terrain 3 for me. But I assumed where the cache location was and wasn't paying attention to the GPSr. So it turned back into a terrain 4. Sheesh, sometimes I'm my own worst enemy. Kelsey and I slid down the hill together, on our butts and not on purpose. Have you ever seen a dog lose its footing and slide on its butt? We both slipped at the same time. It was quite comical. TFTC.

I found it! 07 Sept 2003    BMX and Buckthorn  ( Difficulty: 2.5    Terrain: 2.5 )

Saw lots of grasshoppers jumping on the way to stage one. Nice hide. Archers out in force today (92 degrees) on the range.

Overshot the 2nd stage a bit, got into the buckthorn, and paid the price. The bandaids in the cache are a nice touch.

Took firework, soaked and disposed of it in the trash, left nothing. TFTC.

I found it! 07 Sept 2003    Jeremiah the Bullfrog Swamp  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 2 )

Saw a pheasant on the trail. Nice hide. TNLN. TFTC.
