I found it! 26 Sept 2004    Critter Kennel  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 2 )

Picked up Ruth (Peppermill) to head out to Darien Lake State Park. "New Cache" she said. "Lead the way" I replied. After a short hike, we found the stash! Thanks for the hide!

I found it! 22 Oct 2003    Oz (Part One) - Emerald City  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 2 )

Guess I had a fair shot as first to find in the 40 degree drizzling rain. Found the cache, clicked my boots 3 times and wound up at work (what's up with that?). Enjoyed the walk on the "Yellow Brick Road"!

I found it! 22 Oct 2003    Oz (Part Two) - Return to Kansas  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 2 )

First to the Emerald City. Had fun following the Yellow Brick Road. Signed the log, clicked my boots 3 times and wound up at work. Went looking for flying monkeys but didn't see any...the weather must have kept them away. Thanks for the hide.

I found it! 22 Feb 2003    Art Walk  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 1 )

Only the tough go geocaching on such a cold, wet, miserable day like today....enough of the winter blues, I say!! Found the cache and logged the book.

I found it! 22 Feb 2003    Get Fresh  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 1 )

Went to freshen up a bit today. Got real wet and real cold too! Found the cache easily enough...putting it back became the real challenge. One of our city's finest decided he was going to sit a spell right next to where we had to return the cache and he was not in a hurry to leave. Went to find coffee and a restroom while we were waiting...was that the order ? Anywho, it's back where it belongs...fun hide!

I couldn 22 Feb 2003    No Compromise No. 1  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 1 )

Must get head examined to be out caching in a 30-degree downpour! Just can't give up the challenge of the hunt. Too much activity going on at the Theatre for us to really get down and dirty. Will return again, next time we'll shoot for an all out blizzard :)

I couldn 22 Feb 2003    Jungle Gym  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1 )

Note to self: Self, don't you understand you can't look up in a downpour? Assuming I'm on the right track, we'll have to try again another day.

Note 27 Jan 2003    Where am I ?  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1.5 )

The cache is loose again! A little snow, a little ice, a little wind....are you going to let Mother Nature keep you from the fun stuff??? I didn't think so, So step out on Sunday, February 9 and come find me. I won't disappoint anyone in the family if you come looking on that day. Terrain and Difficulty are rated a 1, unless you cache this on February 9, then the crowds may increase the difficulty to a 1.5, but who cares if anyone catches you finding it, cuz it's your chore to hide it again!

I found it! 29 Dec 2002    Where am I ?  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1.5 )

The travel cache is now in the possession of the Lyndon Road Gang! Went to check out the Christmas lights described and photographed by Peppermill 6-pack. WOW! I wonder how long it took to put up all those lights?!? Can that house be spotted by people travelling by plane? Will find a new home shortly and post co-ordinates. (need to let the cache log dry out some, it was a little damp).

Cache on in 2003!

I found it! 09 Nov 2002    Joannes Trek  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 3 )

Went team caching with Bill and Ruth from Peppermill 6-Pack. Even with 4 GPS units going, it took us a bit to find the cache. Eventually found it at 10:15am. Dropped off Marty the Martian travel bug. Thanks for the hide.

I found it! 09 Nov 2002    Olmsted #2 - South Park  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 2 )

3rd find of our adventure. Found at 5:10pm, rather dusky out this time of year. Found the cache with Ruth (Peppermill 6-Pack Mom). These directions were the best!! Glad I looked up from reading to go "over", otherwise the weekend might have ended much differently. Didn't trade, just autographed the log. Huckle Buckle Beanstalk!

I found it! 08 Oct 2002    Cache KaBoom  ( Difficulty: 3    Terrain: 2.5 )

Found at 5:50pm...good thing, not much daylight after work these days. Sue found the film canister and Steve found the cache. Took caribeener with compass on it and left a manicure set. Been to this park every 4rth of July for the fireworks and this is the first time I ever knew there were trails in the park. Enjoyed the hide, thanks much!! Huckle Buckle Beanstalk. Sue (SueShe) and Steve.

Note 07 Oct 2002    Letchworth Fall Cachers' Gathering  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1 )

The family had a most excellent outing on Saturday. Great company, food and conversation. Wished their was more time to meet and talk to everyone. Our hats are off to the Blackwatch Clan, Roadkill, Dekaner, J-Ra and Quinn for planning and organizing the event. Thanks to everyone else for the company! Sue of SueShe, Steve, Matt and Jim

I found it! 07 Oct 2002    What's the Point  ( Difficulty: 2    Terrain: 1 )

Jim found the cache by accident, while doing the dash for cache. Logged the book, took nothing, left nothing, then went on our way to find our instant winner, Not Sue from SueShe, Jim and Matt

I found it! 05 Oct 2002    Brogan's Topo Lesson  ( Difficulty: 2.5    Terrain: 3.5 )

Two carloads went for the hunt about 2:00pm, we figured we could get it done, then back for pictures by 3:00. After a hike down the hill, we all realize we're on the wrong side of the ravine. After a couple of choice words, we hike back up the hill, then back to the picnic for a Kodak moment. About 5:30, we attempt again, I believe the carload count was about 4 for this try. Down the hill again, but what side of the ravine? After climbing back and forth across the ravine, we pick the right side. Getting close to the cache, there's a group of about 15 people who already found the cache. Made the find and joined the group to wait for the last group to find the cache. What fun we had!! Need more group caching. Huckle Buckle Beanstalk! Sue of SueShe, Steve, Matt and Jim

Note 29 Sept 2002    Letchworth Fall Cachers' Gathering  ( Difficulty: 1    Terrain: 1 )

The Lyndon Road Gang will be attending, we are 2 adults and 2 teens. We'll bring some munchies and rolls for the burger and dogs.

I found it! 29 Sept 2002    I Pledge  ( Difficulty: 3.5    Terrain: 1 )

Went off for early morning cache with B&R of Peppermill 6-Pack. Thought we were in for a bit of a hunt, but found it without too much difficulty. Thanks for the hide. Sue from SueShe
